Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka

The hotel was very clean, and I loved the free, unlimited warm water and ice refills – so convenient! There were also vending machines near the ice and water stations, so you could grab drinks without even leaving the hotel. The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, the transportation was convenient, and shopping was a breeze.

The location is super convenient, right in the Umeda commercial district with JR Osaka Station next door. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff provided excellent service, and check-in/check-out was all self-service. The only two downsides were that there weren't enough washing machines, so you had to queue during peak evening hours, and the room was small and faced the railway. Overall, I would still choose this hotel next time I visit Osaka. (I even extended my stay by one night.)

The hotel is brand new and close to everything. The train station is nearby, shopping malls are close, and there's a Family Mart right downstairs. Absolutely impressed!

They've stopped providing complimentary bottled water, and I suspect housekeeping is now on an 'on-demand' basis. The front desk staff was just okay, they pretend to be automated but honestly, human service would be better. The one good thing is the location.

This hotel is our go-to whenever we're in Osaka. First, it's incredibly convenient. The airport bus stops right downstairs, and even when it doesn't stop directly downstairs at night, the stop at Sanbangai is only a 5-minute walk away. I was actually in the hotel during the Kumamoto earthquake on the afternoon of July 28th, and while there was a slight tremor, the hotel's emergency response to the earthquake was very well-organized. Second, it's great for shopping; you can easily head back to the hotel to rest your feet before heading out again.

We booked a quad room for our family of four, and everyone got a great night's sleep. Shopping at department stores and drugstores was incredibly convenient, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The picture shows our first meal, which we randomly picked on the 8th floor right below the hotel – it was delicious! The public transport nearby can take you to any attraction you want to visit. Both check-in and check-out were self-service and easy to use. Things to note: 1. Remember to ask the front desk for skincare products. 2. There's a microwave in the corner of the lobby for heating food. 3. For extra trash to be collected, you need to stick a yellow sticker (found behind the door) on the garbage bag. 4. There's no water in the room, but you can get drinking water in the lobby, or buy it daily from FamilyMart downstairs. Oh, and the direct airport bus service is really a big plus! I'm not a travel expert, but following a guide made everything straightforward. I saw mixed reviews for this hotel, but I still wanted to share my genuine experience for others' reference. It's a hotel that can really save you travel time, and I'd definitely choose it again next time I'm in Osaka.

Super convenient! Right out of Osaka Station, take the links walkway on the second floor and you're there. Downstairs there's Yodobashi Camera, and Ichiran Ramen is nearby. It's really easy to catch the JR line to Kyoto, and the Kansai Airport bus stop is only 200m away. Overall, a great experience!
