Miyako City Osaka Hommachi Reviews

First time in Osaka, and everything went smoothly! The hotel is super close to Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station, just a two or three-minute walk. It's a bit further from Hommachi Station, about a 20-minute walk. Apparently, after 10 PM, the subway to Sakaisuji-Hommachi stops running, so you'd have to take it to Hommachi and walk back. A taxi at night for 6km would cost around 4000 yen. The hotel staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. They spoke English and were also happy to use translation apps to communicate. The room had several options for housekeeping posted, which was a nice touch and showed great attention to detail. And the terrace is huge! There's even a torii gate on top of the building next door. Check-out was quick and efficient. The lobby for check-in is on the second floor, and they have free drinks and a lounge area. After midnight, the main entrance downstairs is locked, so you need your key card to get in, which feels very secure. The elevators also require a key card to access your floor. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, but there are water dispensers on every floor. I opted to buy a big bottle of water from 7-Eleven, haha! 😂 Anyway, it was a great stay. It's pretty central and you can walk to most places. I'd definitely book again next time!

The room was clean and the bathroom was really big and nice. The location is not too closed to shopping district, about 10-15min walk without luggage. There is a subway closed by, however need to transfer if you need to travel shin-osaka. The self- drink provides a variety of drink, my family and I really like it

The hotel room was a bit small; I could only open my 24-inch suitcase in the hallway or by the door, haha. The bathroom, however, was spacious with a great wet/dry separation, and it even had its own balcony. Across from the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven and a CoCo Ichibanya, plus a 24-hour FamilyMart nearby. The subway station is about a 5-minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I love this hotel! My 3rd time staying here and brought my family here for our stay this trip. Location is great as hotel is close to everywhere we wanted to go and there are many nice restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall, it was a great experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and patient, even though their English wasn't perfect, they still communicated with me very well. The hotel also arranged a very quiet room with a nice view. The surrounding area is peaceful, and it's just a little over a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi.

This hotel even comes with a balcony view and a well-designed bathroom featuring a separate wet and dry area, a spacious shower, a large soaking tub, and a smart toilet seat. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. The lounge offers complimentary soft drinks from 7 AM to 10 PM daily; alcoholic beverages are extra. Breakfast is quite extensive, mainly featuring Chinese and Western options, though there's a limited selection of traditional Japanese dishes. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel.

This is the second time i stayed at this hotel. All good. Location is a bit walking away from tourist spots. So it is quiet with the local restaurants around the area.

Excellent location, very close to the subway station. The room layout was clean and tidy, and the hotel staff were fantastic. Both check-in and check-out were very quick. It's rare to stay in such a great room, so I'm giving it a five-star rating.

The hotel room with a balcony was very comfortable, and the location was also good. However, the breakfast was very mediocre, with not much to eat. When I was checking in, I was looking for coins to pay the accommodation tax, and the man at the front desk was tapping his fingers on the table. My friend said he almost rolled his eyes. The service was really poor.

Clean and tidy, and the staff were very patient. The city center location is super convenient, and the ramen shop downstairs is delicious! I'd love to come back again!!!!

Great Hotel. Has a very organized place for luggage storage and a lobby to wait.
