Daiwa Roynet Hotel Osaka-Kitahama Reviews

I stayed here for five nights straight, and it was really convenient for getting to places around Osaka. The front desk staff were friendly, and it was such a treat to have different bath salts every day for a soak. There's an ice machine and microwave on alternating floors, and they clean the room daily. There's a supermarket in the basement of the building across the street, and if you walk a bit further, there's a Life supermarket where Haagen-Dazs is only 199 yen, which is a much better deal than convenience stores. In the evenings, you can grab a meal at the izakayas nearby.

Excellent! The service was great, and the room was clean. Five-star rating! The hotel is in a prime location with full amenities and is very clean. The service was attentive and responsive, making the entire check-in process very smooth. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended!

It’s a great hotel in a very convenient location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff in the reception spoke really good English. Those who didn’t were also able to help us with information using the translation device, which I thought was really good. Housekeeping were really nice, friendly and good at their job. They have an amenity area in the reception where you can pick up amenities like toothbrush, comb, razor, as well as tea, coffee and bathsalts. Room was a bit small but it was very cozy. I loved how the toilet seat was heated. The central temperature control was good. The working area being there was very convenient for me as I need to work while on holiday sometimes. Check-in and check-out can be done using the machine as well. We had a early morning flight and using the machine to check-out was very easy. Breakfast was good as well, there were western and japanese choices and if you were to not use your breakfast coupons, you can redeem it for a souvenir at the reception but it has been redeemed on the same day. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.

Clean room and friendly staff. Not in the best location but close to train which makes travel still very convenient. Not too far away from Osaka castle

The subway station entrance is right next door, but there's not much else around. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. The bathroom was quite spacious, and the front desk service was good.

This hotel is very close to Kitahama subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The area around Kitahama is also quite peaceful. For its price point, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the overall environment and cleanliness were pretty good. It offers excellent value for money. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. It's conveniently located with a supermarket right across the street, making shopping easy. I've also been to the Seven Star BBQ restaurant nearby at least five or six times; their grilled wagyu is delicious and not too expensive. The hotel rooms are clean, and the price is reasonable except for weekends. There's a Starbucks downstairs, and it's super close to the subway station – just an elevator ride down. The breakfast is a bit pricey, so we usually grab sandwiches and milk from the convenience store. If you walk about 500 meters, there's a Matsuya where you can get a hot bowl of beef donburi. Plus, there are buses to Osaka Station, making it easy to get to Umeda too.

I always stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Osaka. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The 18-square-meter room is perfectly fine for one person; it doesn't feel too small at all. As a chain hotel, both the service and facilities are top-notch. It's definitely worth staying here every time!

After three uncomfortable nights elsewhere, this hotel was a 100 times better! I booked a Deluxe Double Room, and it looked exactly like the pictures. I was drawn to the massage chair and the generous floor space. Overall, it was very clean and spacious, with windows that could open. The layout was simple and refreshing. The front desk is on the third floor, and they offer a variety of amenities (drip coffee, razors, bath powder, toothbrushes, and a big plus - makeup remover oil). The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, but you need to put the 'please clean' sign on your door before 10 AM. The nearest subway entrance, Kitahama Station, is just a few steps to the right when you exit the hotel on the first floor. Also, if you walk straight for about 8-10 minutes from the hotel's first floor exit, you'll find a large supermarket called Life, and there are many cafes nearby. The only downside is that Kitahama Station requires a transfer to reach some tourist spots, but that doesn't diminish my positive feelings about this hotel. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Osaka.

The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the subway station, with a supermarket and convenience store right across the street. It's also very close to the Keihan Line, making the location excellent. The staff provide great service, the facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is abundant. It offers fantastic value for money and is highly recommended.

As a local Japanese chain, Daiwa Roynet is definitely a high-value-for-money choice. Their locations are usually very convenient, and the rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped. The room decor is a simple business style, and amenities like toiletries, skincare products, tea bags, and drip coffee are all provided. The room cleaning is thorough, and the self-service check-in/check-out machines make the process very convenient. Osaka can be quite noisy, but this branch in Kitahama is located in a quiet area with fewer people, which I prefer. Yet, there's no shortage of stylish restaurants around the hotel. It's also very convenient for getting to Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Kyoto, Kobe, and the airport.

Excellent! The location is super convenient, right next to Kitahama subway station. It's easy to get to shopping areas like Shinsaibashi and Umeda, as it's pretty much in the middle of everything. I can walk to all these districts every time.
