It's a private lodging-style ryokan, and it has a lot of Showa atmosphere, but I have the impression that it can be used for personal use without any problems. The toilets are shared, and the locks are like old cultural houses, so I can't recommend it to people who want to completely shut off their private life, but if you don't mind, it's worth using.

Very courterious family, in a quiet neighborhood. Train stations within minutes of walking distance, a major grocery store about 10 minutes walk. We had breakfast option, it was simple but yummy.

I stayed there the day before I went to Universal. The water area and bath were clean, and I was able to sleep on tatami mats and futons, which was very comfortable. Best of all, the owner couple was wonderful and made us feel at ease.
