The Westin Osaka

The hotel is spotless and very quiet. It's a 10-minute walk to the subway station, and there's a free shuttle to Osaka Station every 30 minutes, which is super convenient and pleasant. The renovated rooms are clean and bright. I'm not sure why so many reviews mention a 15-minute walk?

The room is spacious and new. The 1.35-meter bed was very comfortable for one adult and one child, and even with four suitcases, it didn't feel cramped for a family of four. The bathroom is very roomy and well-designed, making it convenient for multiple guests. There's a free shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station from 10 AM to 6 PM, or you can walk there in about 15 minutes. The hotel's own small garden has very relaxed koi fish. Nearby, you can get a panoramic view of Osaka from the Umeda Sky Building, and there's a convenient food street underground.

After comparing several hotels for this trip to Japan, I ultimately chose The Westin, and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The twin room I booked had spacious beds, and there are multiple shopping malls conveniently located near the hotel, making dining and shopping very accessible. Highly recommended!

After a long search, I finally settled on The Westin, an established hotel that was renovated last year. Location: It's a 6-7 minute walk from Osaka Station, which is both convenient and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness: There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness in Japanese hotels. Facilities: The room was spacious enough, which was my favorite part. However, despite the renovation, the showerhead, shower stall size, and sink still left something to be desired; you could definitely feel its age. Service: This is a classic five-star hotel. They even delivered an English newspaper to my door in the morning. The room was cleaned impeccably every day, meeting Westin's standards. However, the concierge staff at the entrance had inconsistent attitudes – I encountered some who were quite grumpy, and others who were incredibly enthusiastic.

An older hotel that's been renovated in the last two years. The hygiene is good, and the high floors offer great night views and sunrise views. Behind the hotel, there's an underground food street with highly-rated shops on Gaode Maps. The bedside lamp strips and other room lights are all controlled by a device on the bedside, which looks like a digital watch. On the first day, we didn't look closely and thought the lamp strips and night light didn't have separate controls, so we just turned off the main switch by the door......

The hotel is really run down, and the breakfast was awful. The view from the window was terrible, and they put me on the lowest floor. As for service, I didn't experience any.
