Bunks at Rode

The accommodation was excellent. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was spotless. The front desk staff were responsible and helpful, even assisting with train information. The atmosphere was great too. It offers excellent value for money and is the cleanest and best hostel I've ever stayed in.

At first, seeing the name made me a bit nervous, thinking it was a small guesthouse. But it's actually a really big hotel, and there's a supermarket right next door downstairs. The only downside is that you have to pay to store your luggage.

It's quite clean, with automatic check-in and check-out. There are also three types of restrooms, so there are plenty available. The common area has a full set of utensils. A Kiwi supermarket is right next door, where I bought a lot of delicious food. The curtains on the bed can be fully drawn for good privacy, and there's storage right next to the bed. Everything is accessed with your own card, so it feels quite secure. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs because this room can get super noisy if there are a lot of people. However, during my stay, everyone was consciously keeping quiet, which was great. It's about a 20-minute bus ride on line 30 to the city center and 50 minutes to the airport. So, I think for this price, the location is excellent!
