There's a girl from Mongolia at the front desk who speaks Chinese, which made communication very smooth. The hotel is quiet, and the hot spring, although small, is rarely used. There's a tiny supermarket, but it's mostly closed during the day and used for luggage storage.

After getting off at Hakuba Station, I took the V2 bus to the Gondola station. I think it was the third or fourth stop. From there, it was a 7-minute walk following Google Maps. The hotel offers discounted ski resort tickets and has a partnership with a ski rental shop. The hotel's large public bath was also great, practically empty, very quiet, and clean. If you plan to take a bus to Nagoya, you can catch it right outside the hotel, just make sure to check the schedule beforehand and book in advance. Breakfast options were limited but sufficient and quite refined. There's also a coin-operated laundry room with dryers.

Hotel is great and staff is very accommodating. We arrived very early and they were able to take our bags so that we can start skiing. The property is a bit of a hike (up and down) from Tsugaike ski place which was a bit tricky for me with ski boots but my son was ok with his snowboard shoes. There is a convenience store on the way though but onigiri supplies often run out at the end of day, so you need to get there early.

Great location, one of the snow liner stops at Tsugaike, if you are taking that shuttle traveling direct from Narita airport. Also only few mins walk to the gondola station to hit the slopes. Friendly staff, discounted lift passes are available at the reception, cash only though. Highly recommended if you are staying at Tsugaike.
