For those who travel as a family, please pay extra attention to this hotel. The hotel charged us an additional charge of 99,300 JPY (ie SGD $925) for two kids’ half board meals. In the end, we paid almost SGD $1900 for 2 adults and 2 kids for one night stay at Ginrinsou. That is ridiculous!!! Please avoid this hotel.

If you call from Otaruchikko Station, a shuttle bus will come.
All the staff are friendly and this accommodation leaves a calm impression.
Needless to say, the meal was delicious and made with fresh ingredients.
They take great care of you
The building was very old-fashioned and it was a quiet place to stay.

The service is very good. We will call a taxi to Otaru Chikko Station for free. Dinner and breakfast are both exquisite and rich. The guest room is about 60 square meters, and there is an independent private hot spring room where you can take a bath at any time. The weather was too cold so I didn't go to the public hot spring pool. The room can see the entire Otaru Port, perfect score💯! Highly recommended!

If you call from Otaru Chikko Station, they will come pick you up within 5 minutes.
Most of the staff don't speak English. Instead, there was one employee who could speak a little Korean.
Even though it was a smoking room, there was no smell at all.
The overall room was quite spacious, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the hot springs while looking at the ocean from both the room and the open-air bath.
When checking out, the taxi will only take you to Otaru Chikko Station, not your desired location, and is free.
