The hotel is a 10min walk from the train station so it was hard to get there in snowy and icy conditions. The room was small and comfortable but clean.

Very close to Otaru Canal and Otaru Station, with plenty of food options nearby. It's also incredibly close to Tenguyama Ropeway Station! Everything was super convenient. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. A fantastic stay overall!

The hotel is a bit old but well-maintained. The Western breakfast was just okay and not really worth the price. The staff, however, were excellent – very friendly and proactive in opening doors and helping with luggage. The back entrance only has stairs, which was a real pain with all the luggage.

Convenient location within walking distance from Otaru Canal. Clean and well-equipped room with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Very lovely hotel with extremely helpful front desk staff who spoke good English. The location is really convenient smack right in between Otaru JR station and Otaru Canal and less than 15 mins walk to Sakaimaichi Shopping Street. The room is big in Japanese terms. No issue for those travelling with 2 x 30 inch lugguage. We had twin bed room which comes with a large sofa lounge enough for 1 person to sleep. We had dinner at the 11th Floor Casa Blanca. Wonderful dinner for 3 with wines, whisky and highballs. Exceptional night view of snow capped city buildings. All at an very surprising bill of ¥25,000 for a fine dinning restaurant. I will not hesitate to recommend this excellent hotel. Will definitely be back for my next visit to Otaru in Authum.

Great staff and amazing restaurant/bar. Cheong the manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful as were the older cleaning ladies.Breakfast average but with a great view. Husband loved the onsen. The only bad things for me were the fact we had to pay for parking.. not always near the hotel, and the bed for me was very uncomfortable. Otherwise nice food in the restaurant and reasonable restaurants around :)

The stay was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Loved the lobby vibes, slightly grand yet cosy. The rooms were well equipped and bed were firm and comfy especially for those with back problems. Breakfast was a gd spread. Also I misplaced my iPad and the team was very helpful in retrieving it for me. Would definitely return when I visit Otaru again.

The environment here is really nice, the room is spacious and very clean. It's also conveniently located near the station, and right downstairs is a shopping street with many restaurants. It's super convenient and a great choice for a trip to Otaru.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to get anywhere. Dinner on the third floor was a decent set meal, but breakfast was a bit basic. The public bath isn't very big.

Definitely a five-star review! I stayed for two nights, and the room was spacious. Being a corner room, it had three windows with a great view of the sea. The hotel isn't far from the JR station. We booked dinner at the top-floor restaurant, and while we had to wait a bit longer than expected, they compensated us with two complimentary drinks. Overall, the service was excellent.

Fantastic! The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a super large room with amazing views directly overlooking the sea. The room was huge, very clean, and had three big windows. The location is excellent; if you walk straight out, you'll reach the Otaru Canal. Coming from RJ, you just walk straight ahead until you see the covered pedestrian street on your left, and the hotel is at the end of it.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from Otaru Station, across the main street and into the shopping area. Its proximity to the commercial district means it's quiet at night, which is great for a good night's sleep. The front desk staff provided excellent service, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. Facilities: The hotel facilities are exceptionally well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, and a real highlight is the large public bath on the 3rd floor, available both morning and evening. Just remember to bring your own towel!

Location: Excellent, it's about a ten-minute walk to the Red Brick Warehouse, and the station isn't far either. Facilities: Has everything you need, but the public bath was just so-so. Environment: Good, it's an older, established hotel. Service: Standard. Cleanliness: Standard.
