Very disappointed in service  Not professional at all  They didn’t clean the room I have to ask for it we stay for 2 night I agave to ask for mouth wash they give only one  I ask for bill when I check out the receipt tion just give me parking bill not room hotel bill s

The staff is very nice and efficient. Supe helpful, quick and reponsive. About the hotel… its OLD. Barely been renovated (some paint retouch) and abusing its reputation. Its not prestigious as before. And it could be very noisy. The bed and mattesses are very old and not comfortable. Rooms have minimum. All in all, its overpriced

We had a great stay at the Lord Elgin hotel, the location is excellent, and check in and out was easy. A simple, comfortable stay in Ottawa.

I recently stayed at the Lord Elgin for five nights and, unfortunately, my experience with the service left a lot to be desired. There seems to be a noticeable lack of staff training and attentiveness. Upon arrival, there was no liquid soap in the room, and I had to request it to be refilled rather than it being properly checked beforehand. On another occasion, I asked for fresh milk and was told to come down to the bar to get it myself, which felt inconvenient and not in line with expected hotel service. Additionally, housekeeping was inconsistent—one day, used mugs in the room were not cleared at all. These small details add up and impact the overall guest experience. While the hotel itself has potential, the service standards need improvement to meet expectations. I hope management addresses these issues and provides better training to staff moving forward.

Great location for tourists .  Will recommend . Great breakfast buffet ! 

Nice location, elegant building, service is great. Only issue was with the AC fan system - it was way too loud whenever it switches on. Woke up few times as the fan auto-switched on.

Friendly staff and rooms are very clean. Location is perfect , right in the downtown area. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel the night before our wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant, just what we needed before the big day. The valet service was quick and efficient, though it’s good to know there is a $44 charge per night. Overall, everything felt smooth and well taken care of, and we’re glad we chose to stay there for such a special moment.
