The Century House Bed and Breakfast Ottawa

We chose the Century House on a whim -- and the free parking spot -- and feel like the universe was looking out for us. The building is gorgeous and renovated top-to-bottom on the inside. The rooms are spotless and quiet and the host, Vittorio, is an excellent innkeeper and chef. The provided breakfast is top notch, and Vittorio graciously accommodated both the gluten-free/dairy-free and vegan guests in our group. Highly recommended and if we are even back in Ottawa we will return.

Great property which is close to public transport and the Rideau Centre. Vittorio is an amazing host and prepares a great breakfast. Will definitely book again for my next trip to Ottawa

Vittorio's beautifully restored heritage home is quiet, clean and comfortable. Our room #3 is lovely and spacious, with its two beautiful windows seemingly part of a turret, and the two table tops that were unencumbered by knick-knacks!! The front sitting room is large, and bright, and very welcoming with its little round tables and chairs spread apart, inviting you to sit and write in your travel journal while sipping a cup of tea - there is a mini fridge, containing water/milk/cream, in a niche under the staircase, with kettle and tea bags/cups! The hot breakfasts were served at 8:00 - our host presented us with delicious, creative dishes! The B&B's location is a perfect base from which to explore Ottawa on foot. Vittorio's warm and sincere attention to his guests has given this house a charming, calm feeling of tranquility. Very highly recommended!

Lovely B&B in a beautifully restored home. Breakfast delicious with Vittorio ensuring his guests are looked after. Comfortable bed , good shower & room/ home spotlessly clean. If you love Jack Vettriano you won’t be disappointed. Good location for walking to every where. We parked the car and did not require it.

The host, Vittorio is amazing. Breakfast presentation is exquisite and delicious. The rooms are small but have everything we need and are well appointed. We would definitely return here.
