We spent two nights on the farm on our way home in April 2022 and it was such an awesome experience. The stay on the farm was so comfortable and relaxing! The rooms were very clean and comfortable! The staff were so friendly and helpful! We booked to go on the meerkat experience at sunrise and we were not sorry - it was amazing!!! Seeing these amazing creatures in their natural habitat and hearing all the stories - wonderful memories!!!

A very warm welcome in a beautiful setting. Superb service and a very good evening meal. The room was beautiful with a real fire (we needed it) a heated blanket (we needed it) and air conditioning (on heat - we needed it!). Tea and coffee in room and such an amazing bed. Breakfast was also good but we chose to have ours after a meerkat experience (be warned it was cold and no meerkats due to cold and showers - no charge as no meerkat but it was extremely cold!!!!!!). And it was really kind of them to do breakfast at that time - but I think breakfast would actually have been better first - everyone was there, the food was out fresh and hot/cold as it should be. It was our choice and our own mistake - but the amount of small flies around made the late breakfast (that was under cloths) less appetising. Please be aware - this was our choice and our own mistake - if we had chosen early breakfast the rating would be 5 - just the amount of flies honestly was a distraction - and we have stayed in other rural areas and not had the same issue. Would highly recommend

We took our 4 grandchildren to De Zeekoe for 2 nights and loved every minute. Theo and his team were amazing and the food is so well prepared and served by a great team of friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. This small guest hotel is situated looking out over the Outdshoorn farmland and mountains. Do not miss the Meerkat experience… this you will never forget!

On arrival we had a very warm welcome and were guided to our beautifully decorated rooms, even with a nice balcony . Everything you need was available and the staff was very friendly throughout our stay. We enjoyed and would return. De Zeekoe Guest Farm is highly recommended to everyone touring along Garden Route

A very friendly welcome and a lovely large room were just the basics of this place. The surrounding land was full of birds and we booked an early morning bird walk with an excellent guide. This is also a place where you can go on a meerkat safari but you must book ahead as it’s very popular and places are limited(we booked before we travelled here). There are places to relax in the hotel gardens and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Visited De Zeekoe for a friend’s birthday 70th birthday party and decided to stay over that night. Beautifully equipped room with all the luxury things you could imagine. Fireplace, air conditioner and a nice warmed bed. The function food was excellent!! Very friendly staff all round. Highly recommended.

We visited De Zeeko Farm ostensibly to go on a Meerkat safari. We regretted not staying more than one night as the farm was a wonderful place to stay and the area had lots more to offer. The room was huge and beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful touches. The food at dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Thank you!

A fantastic location from which to see the ‘Five Shy Meerkats’ - a truly special and remarkable experience. We were there in winter but heated blankets made the rooms cosy. Accommodating staff and great evening meal. A peaceful stay on our otherwise busy trip.
