Old Bank Hotel

The room was very small and cramped. The pillowcases had large yellow stains and were not changed. The price-to-performance ratio was completely off.

A uniquely renovated old hotel. The air conditioning was quite noisy, and the bedding and towels in the room weren't very clean – I'd recommend checking them beforehand. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Oxford, making it great for tourism, and it offers free parking and amenities like bottled water.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and warm, attentive service.

1) I love Old Bank! I stayed there for a week. 2) I loved it so much that I extended my stay at the hotel reception for another day, only to find it was significantly more expensive than the price I booked through Ctrip. It seems Ctrip is still the best choice for booking overseas hotels. 3) I hope Ctrip can improve the interactive review experience for customers. Actually, before I booked this hotel, I saw a comment below from a guest who left their luggage at the hotel, but didn't open it and went straight to the airport to check it in. Upon returning to China, they discovered their valuables were missing from their luggage. They assumed it must have been stolen while they were checking it in at the hotel. I really wanted to reply to that comment, but unfortunately, I can't. It's highly likely that the guest's luggage was stolen at the airport. I don't know if their flight back to China has a connecting flight; if so, the chances are even higher. This is far more likely than the hotel staff opening your checked luggage and taking your belongings. You might have been more effective if you contacted the airline and the airport immediately. I've experienced this myself. Overall, I think the chances of this happening at Old Bank are very low.
