Remont Oxford Hotel

This was really close to the bus stop into the city centre with very frequent services and the manager allowed us to park there early before check in time and leave the car there after check out the next day until late afternoon which saved us time by not having to use the park and ride. The room was smallish but clean and the bed comfortable. we were on a corner on the ground floor so able to open the 'garden' door and window to create a through draft for a while to cool the room in the heat wave before trying to get to sleep. There was a fan provided but we shut the the door and left the window open a bit which was quieter than using the fan although there was a little traffic noise at times. It was the only B and B that I could find that did a cooked breakfast with other buffet options too and had adequate parking. The food was continually freshly topped up and although perhaps not the finest local produce perfectly good to keep us going all day. We had a lovely evening meal at the 'Plough' pub a short drive away in Wolvercote and a pleasant canal walk after the meal.

Easy travel links to Blenheim Palace. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast included.

Clean bedding, towels, comfy beds, well lit rooms. The bathroom bin wasn’t cleaned prior to use. There also was a constant tapping noise throughout the night, not very loud but enough for it to me a disturbance. We were in Room 21 on the 3rd floor. Difficult to say what the noise was. Lots of rooms in a newly renovated property. Squeaky stairs. Friendly, helpful staff and kind to allow us to park the car whilst we visited Oxford.

Great stay and great customer service on arrival. breakfast was good as well with plenty of choices. Location is not too bad, in fact around 30min walk to city. On-site parking was provided. Amenities were just ok. Room was quite small but cozy. I was worried of the busy road at front, but it turned out to be ok for Sunday morning.

We’re a family of three and stayed in a room on the second floor, just under the roof. The room was very basic, with one double bed and one single bed. As others have mentioned, there was no lift, so we had to carry our suitcases upstairs ourselves. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the ceiling was quite low. We only stayed for one night, so it was manageable.

Great hotel, no complaint. A little remote location but accessible via public transport

It’s not really a hotel, but more like a B&B with some hotel like features. Moving up the luggage to the room on the top floor was rather inconvenient although the receptionist,Alex, was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but since there isn’t a restaurant in the accommodation, you’ll have to drive out to find food beyond breakfast. Besides the receptionist Alex, I didn’t quite get a warm feeling when we encountered the hosts, which is unusual given our experience in other cities in the UK so far. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Very clean environment. Room and bed comfortable. Shower clean with reasonable power. Breakfast simple and sufficient and excellently cooked. All providing for a very pleasing experience.
