The Bocardo Hotel

The Bocardo is under renovation therefore we are transferred to nearby upgrade hotel. Location is extremely convenient is down town surrounded by restaurants shops. 15 mins walk to st Hilda’s oxford. Oxford library, Old Bank Hotel, Ivy restaurant, Cover garden, nearby souvenirs shops, McDonald, Boots. Very convenient. L’Occitane shampoo and shower gel excellent. Bring your slippers. Room is relatively small.

Was right in center of town at Oxford Super convenient Restaurants all over , 1-5 min walk Staff was always available and friendly

I don't think this is a 4 star hotel. No reception at the front, if you have problem, you difficultly contact the staff. The air-con at my room was invalid, and they couldn't repair it at the day, very upset. They asked us to move to their another hotel opposite. The new room's at the basement with air-con, no window and the room is dim, the carpet is damp. Luckily, we only stayed 1 night.

The hotel is in a great location, accessible to everything important to a tourist.

It was pretty good for the money! Definitely recommend! Totally in contrast with the neg reviews I read online.

Great location within Oxford city centre, walking distance from the train station with lots of restaurants nearby. Clean room but facilities are rather basic for the price. Pros: AC in the room so for a hot summer night it is very useful. Cons: Lobby is on the 1st floor and no lift! Special thanks to Nimita. She was very kind and carried my over 20kg suitcase down the stairs.

Very central, large clean room. Comfortable bed, amazing shower.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and overall the room was comfortable and tidy. Its location is very convenient, close to Oxford city centre, making it easy to get around and explore the city on foot or by public transport. One important thing to note is that there is no free parking available, and the hotel does not provide on-site parking spaces. If you’re travelling by car, you’ll need to arrange nearby paid parking in advance. Overall, a good option for cleanliness and location, but not ideal if you’re driving.
