Having stayed at the Holiday Inn Oxford on three separate occasions now, I can wholeheartedly say it is a truly outstanding hotel and has become my firm favourite whenever I visit the area. Each stay has been consistently excellent, exceeding my expectations every time. From the moment you walk in, the check-in process is always smooth, efficient, and handled by genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel valued right from the start. The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep after a busy day exploring Oxford or working. The bathrooms are modern and clean, and the overall room maintenance is clearly a high priority. I've always found the rooms to be quiet, providing a peaceful environment. What truly sets this Holiday Inn apart, in my experience, is the exceptional level of service across the board. Every staff member I've encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, has been professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The hotel's facilities are great, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options to start the day right. The location is also very convenient, offering easy access without the stress of navigating the very centre of Oxford, especially if you are driving. Based on my repeated positive experiences, I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn Oxford highly enough. It offers reliable comfort, fantastic service, and great value. It's clear they take pride in their hotel and their guests' satisfaction. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on my future trips to Oxford!

Would highly recommend, very friendly and helpful staff. We had the room with castle view, which was lovely. Nespresso machine and extra options for hot drinks was great. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and delicious. We will stay here again for sure.

Close to the station and Oxford University, walking attractions are all done. The breakfast is rich and affordable. The room is also very good, spacious and comfortable. The only two dissatisfaction: 1. The old house has no elevator, there is a suitcase to move upstairs, the stairs are particularly narrow. 2. The front desk has to press the credit card 💳. I was afraid of being stolen and wanted to press cash to be rejected. I couldn't stay without giving him a visa credit card message. I was deadlocked for a while. I used the elderly card to press the message and locked the card directly. I don't know why it is so rigid.

Situated near major road networks, the hotel is ideal for travelers arriving by car, with on-site parking available. However, some guests note that parking might come with an additional charge but come at fixed $6 per day. Should you require breakfast is best to purchase it on the day you checked it as it will cost $15 instead of $18. Overall, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford is a dependable and comfortable choice, offering a modern retreat just a short distance from the vibrant cultural and academic attractions of Oxford.

The talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best I’ve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure,temperature and drainage so I’m not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, it’s seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so you’ll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.

This was the second Airbnb I booked on Ctrip during my trip to the UK. Because of the issues with the Edinburgh Airbnb, I was quite apprehensive before checking in. Fortunately, the address was correct, and the check-in process was clear. However, upon entering the room, I discovered another problem: the platform described it as a two-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom room, but it actually only had one bedroom – another description error. Thankfully, the proactive service from the Ctrip concierge made me feel welcome even while far from home! (Aside from the misrepresentation, the room was generally very nice, with all the necessary amenities, and it was clean and comfortable.)

Very clean environment. Room and bed comfortable. Shower clean with reasonable power. Breakfast simple and sufficient and excellently cooked. All providing for a very pleasing experience.

Very good value, good breakfast, ideal overnight stay for a visit to Oxford.

we stayed one night here and booked 2 family rooms. One room is not yet ready but Ella the evening staff took great effort to make up the rooms in a few minutes. the beds were comfy for us . in fact we got extra single bed in the room. its quite nice here and we dont mind sleeping here again as down there they have halal food shop and also grocery store. very convenient.
