In truth we only went because someone said we should just to see the "spectacle" and I guess that the faux-Maldives theme works pretty well and the created beach area was quite pleasant. However, the sunbeds and parasols weren't really up to much and annoyingly it has one of those bar/restaurants trying to make you use your phone to order anything rather than give you a menu and a waiter. I really, really don't want to scroll through a phone screen page after page just to order a G&T. It was a nice enough day until the noise from the open-air disco became obtrusive, but is very expensive to get into for what it is and we wouldn't be tempted to go back.

Amazing hotel and amazing restaurants. The beach is really nice with nice cabana and sun loungers . The restaurant staff is really friendly and always smiling. The drinks and food is the best I had a had in Cyprus, I highly recommend this hotel.

İki aile üç gece konaklamak üzere plan yaptık ve Tatil Sitesi Sema Hanımdan satın almıştık. 20 Ekim günü otele giriş için lobide misafir edildiğimizde, bir olumsuzluk yaşadık; arkadaşımız Deniz Hanım kalp spazmı geçirdi, iki gün eşiyle hastanede kalmak zorunda kaldılar. Olayın yaşandığı anda Deniz'i ambulansla hemen hastaneye yetiştiren, Cratos Müşteri İlişkileri Ekibine; Özlem Hanıma, Gülşah Hanıma ve Alev hanıma hassasiyetleri ve profesyonellikleri için çok teşekkür ediyorum. Hastanede kalındığı sürede iyi ve profesyonel bir ekibin yapabileceği her şeyi yaptılar. Otel Yönetimine teşekkür ediyorum; resepsiyon, oda hizmetleri ve restoran ekibi çok güleryüzlü ve işini iyi biliyor ve yapıyor. Tatil Sitesine de teşekkür ediyorum, hiç bir zorluk göstermeden konaklanamayan günlerin tutarını hemen iade ettiler. Hi. We were given a plastic cabana with two Sun beds, slightly not fresh cut fruits and box of water and juices. We paid 3500 Turkish liras for something that was not quite worth it. I’m aware that there are better options at much affordable prices and better looking cabana in other places like Lords. Please do not get ripped off and waste your money at Crato’s cabana.

WORST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES!!!!! DO NOT BOOK THE MALDIVES VILLAS IF YOU WANT A RELAXING STAY. So let me start off by saying this review is purely for the Maldives villas on the beach front and not the hotel complex above! We have been coming back and fourth to the Cratos for many years using their fantastic facilities and you must be fair and say they are very good, but after our experience I will never recommend or go there again. Firstly I will start with a positive - the villa on the seafront is lovely, beautiful views, lovely bed, and a fruit platter upon arrival. In the sunshine this was amazing and really was a fantastic start to our 3rd day on honeymoon. Unfortunately after dinner this went downhill quicker than a tonne of bricks and unfolded into the worst night imaginable. Firstly when I arrived into the room at 22:00 there was no light. Which is fine we searched for the remote and eventually found it only to find out the light did not work or so we thought - now in most hotels you can phone reception and ask someone to rectify this. However there was no on available on reception and I needed to ask someone from their in house restaurants who was very nice and directed me to a girl sat at the front. I explained the issue she said they would send someone right away. 20 minutes passed. I went back down only to find no one available again. I went back to the room and decided to venture out for a 3rd time into basically a nightclub for assistance. In fairness I spoke to the Young man who helped me the first time and he brought a senior member of staff to speak with me who was apologetic and said he would send someone immediately to my villa. I can appreciate we have to wait but by the time someone eventually came it was 11:15 at night and we were exhausted. However he changed the light then left. Now my issue here is as he left I wanted to go to sleep. I then find out the remote for the light did not work meaning I had to sleep with a massive light on. Sleeping with the light on for many is ok but for me is a massive issue and meant I would be consistently waking up but given my ordeal and the fact outside had turned into a nightclub I really did not want to venture out again to call someone in as it was almost midnight and thought I will just get over it. If this was the only issue faced I wouldn't be writing the review however, the nightclub, Oh my word I cannot understand the concept of having such a massive nightclub in a hotel. We are aware of Cypriot rules around music and entertainment on the island! our understanding was they cannot play past midnight - that was certainly the case for our wedding we had to stop by midnight! At the Cratos this was not the case. Their nightclub played music until 4AM, and when I say played music it was like we were in the middle of this club I am sure this is against the rules of the island but maybe they have a licence? regardless I cannot understand why or how a hotel has a night club bla

We were staying nearby and thought we’d try something different for a meal at the end of our first week. As we arrived at the restaurant there was a real wow factor. A beautiful setting with colourful lighting and lovely seating area. We were greeted politely and at first the service was good. When we asked for a menu we were shown a QR code. We are familiar with these so it wasn’t a problem, apart from the fact there was no English menu. The waiter told us we could choose from meat or fish or a very expensive set menu. We had no idea what this would consist of so played it safe. The waiters were unable to help. We used Google translate but this wasn’t particularly helpful.. The waiters were all standing around our table and we felt obliged to make quick choices. The restaurant was empty, with so many staff standing around. We also felt we were being laughed at. When we ordered, we weren’t even offered bread. We were happy with our drinks but the food, for supposed fine dining was somewhat underwhelming. None of the courses came with chips or roasted potatoes, or vegetables and rather than salad we had whole chunks of onion, un-dressed rocket and a huge half of lemon to go with the fish. We asked if we could order extra salad or potatoes but were told this wasn’t possible. Every waiter had very little English, and was not helpful at all. Although the food was tasty enough, the portions were tiny, and attempts at fine dining laughable - certainly compared to some of the fantastic meals we’ve had locally, when you’re brought bread, olives, dips etc. There were no special touches whatsoever. The food was extremely over priced, and definitely not value for money. After our meal we had a wander around. So many staff were surplus to requirements - there was no direction from anyone and staff were on phones, lounging around in the quieter areas or stood around talking. This was such a shame as obviously a lot of money has been spent, but there was no atmosphere and hardly and customers, in an area that should seat over two hundred. We will not be recommending, or returning!

One of the best 5 star hotels on the island. Could argue the number one spot with Concorde. Been here for the past 2 days and so far so good. Booked the superior room and I’m loving it. Arif at the front desk was really polite and helpful to me. Made sure I had a very perfect birthday. If I could, I’ll give him his own separate 5 stars! ⭐️. You should look out for him when you come and lodge here. I have no complaints apart from the strength of the Wi-Fi in the room. It’s more suited for laptops not mobile devices.

Ailem ile beraber gittiğimiz güzel bir oteldi. Genel olarak memnun kaldım. Odalar temiz manzarası iyi çalışanlar güleryüzlüydü. Kışın deniz havuza giremedikleri için Çocuklar biraz sıkılıyor biraz daha aktivite olabilir. Restoranda hizmet iyi yemekler biraz daha iyi olabilir. Lobideki The North Shield bar zaman geçirmek için çok iyi emre bey ilgiliydi. Teşekkür ediyoruz.
