Antico Sipario Boutique Hotel

We loved every minute of our stay in Paciano. The hotel has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Claudio and his family. The hotel retains its beautiful ancient charm along with modern touches such as the glass roof which charmingly brings light into the centre of the building. Our room was on the top floor, it was spacious with a very comfortable bed and great walk in shower. The view from our window was of the beautiful Umbrian countryside, every morning we opened the window to hear the sounds of the local clock tower chiming and birdsong, idyllic. Paciano is a great location to stay and is a great base for exploring the local area where it’s easy to reach Panicale, Lake Trasimeno and Perugia as well as Orvieto and Montepulciano for Italian wine lovers! What made our trip though was Claudio. He was standout, his passion for his job and levels of hospitality were second to none. we adored chatting to him and learned more about the restoration of this beautiful building. He helped us arrange things locally, always happy to offer advice and recommendations and supported us with arrangements for a friends wedding we were attending. We would come back in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend Antico Sipario. Grazie mille Claudio!

One of my best stays in Italy , beautiful hotel, extremely nice staff, omg Claude was amazing, so kind and helpful. Best breakfast and coffee. Spacious clean rooms and bathrooms , mixture of modern and classic Italian. Walking distance to all paciano. I will definitely , recommend this place to all my friends an d family when I go back to US.

Absolutely perfect in every way. We stayed for 7 nights with our family of five and found this hotel to be excellent for us. The town of Paciano is lovely, and was a perfect base for exploring Umbria. Claudio was extremely kind and patient with us and our children, and offered many suggestions on areas to visit as well as helping us plan activities. If you’re looking for a charming, clean, historic hotel this one is a must! The hotel and the wonderful people there made our trip! ❤️

This hotel was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Claudio was very nice, helpful, and friendly; everyone was very nice. The room was great. It was spacious, modern, and lovely. We also loved the Breakfast. Everything was great.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 NO KIDDING. We toured all over Europe for a month, then we arrived in Paciano. Super quiet except for a church bell. Just gorgeous. We stayed about a week, and it has my only recommendation. Cheap, friendly, walk everywhere, you might see one or two couples wandering around in awe. Flowers just laying on the ancient stone streets. We were walking and a cat was wandering in front of us, he just laid down in the street and went to sleep.

Beautifully renovated, friendly, boutique hotel in a gorgeous Umbrian hill town. Immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast with an outdoor garden area and wonderful service! Excellent value!

My friends and I went to brunch on Mother's Day, and we will be back. They serve from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for only 14 euros per person. There is also a very quaint courtyard for aperitivo. We are going back this Wednesday night for movie night.

Claudio was the perfect host,and the hotel the perfect venue. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and an amazing breakfast. I was made to feel special during my whole stay - nothing was too much trouble. Please pay a visit - you really won't be disappointed.
