Belle Villa Resort, Pai Reviews

I did not book this myself, but was here on a Tuk Tuk Club tour. I was surprised when I read the bad reviews and wondered whether they related to a period post-pandemic when the resort was below par and had not yet recovered. I found our bungalow on stilts to be clean, spacious, comfortable, and really quite stylish. There was a long bench which provided plenty of space for luggage. There was a nice day bed space by the window. The room had a fridge and a safe. The bathroom was spacious with an open feel. The large restaurant area overlooked one of the two large swimming pools and the fields beyond. Cold beer was available. The staff were courteous. Breakfast was a fruit and salad buffet in addition to a made to order dish with three egg options and three Thai options. The resort is 1.3km from the main street of Pai which was a do-able walk during the day. However, the resort offered an at-call shuttle into town and we could arrange a pick up time (or call if you had a Thai phone). There was a place that did laundry for B50 per kilo just a few hundred meters down the road. It was pleasant and peaceful sitting on the little balcony of the bungalow which overlooked the fields. A far more peaceful option than staying in the Freak City which is Pai.

Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte ma ci siamo trovati bene. Immerso nella natura e con una comoda navetta per il centro dell' originale Pai. Camera e bagno molto ampi con terrazzo. Colazione internazionale con ampia scelta sia dolce che salata. Consigliato per chi visita Pai.

A prima vista sembra una struttura molto gradevole ma in effetti la camera, seppur ampia e spaziosa, aveva un bel bagno con una vasca invitante ma un po’ sporca. Il letto invece era grande e comodo. Il resort poi era un po’ fuori dal centro e non c’erano mezzi per andare, anzi una proposta di noleggio motorini c’era ma hanno detto che non avevano disponibilità (mentre in centro era pieno). La colazione un disastro, misera con macchinette per riscaldare i toast che non funzionavano e uova fredde. Insomma molte cose da rivedere.

Service mild, very little, out of 10, give 1. Facilities: shower is not good, water flows little, bathtub doesn't really work. There is no safety in resting. Found too many bad things to describe. Try going to experience it.

Great location. Great staff. Beautiful gardens and amazing view with cows in field. Very quiet and lovely pool. Very clean. Van service ride to town and back. I highly recommend this hotel, very much worth the price.

I have stayed in 9 hotels in Pai and this is the worst one. It’s ridiculously over priced. The pool is dirty and the rooms are so cold it’s hard to sleep. The bed is uncomfortable and had stains on the sheets and pillows. The bathroom is so cold and dark I didn’t even bother using the shower. I paid £63 for one night here, you can get better hotels for £20 in Pai. I can’t believe they charge so much for such a poor hotel.

Due to post CoViD pandemic, air conditioner gives out lots of water which drips down to our items. Get room change.

Terrible terrible place, black mold on ceilings, dirty faucet, dead roaches in the shower, bf had trouble breathing after a few hours in the room with the mold. Staff didn't care, everything was damp, the bedsheets, the pillow, even the chairs. wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The room is musty.

I only stayed 2 nights after long motorbike trip, it was relaxing. I didnt have to leave the resort, i had food delivered, sat by the pool all day, and in the evening the lady that makes the drinks gave me a special massage in my room. I dindn't have to go into town for anything. I feel well rested. Oh the AC didnt work and smelled like mold. Next time will stay longer.

The atmosphere is shady.
