"We booked 3 nights 6-9th March. The day before booking premiere inn told us refurbishment work going on- no breakfast- no restaurant. Free pastries/Coffees and Fruit offered. Turned up in the middle of a major construction site in the car park. No parking for builders vans. Had to park in adjacent car showroom. Hotel was in lockdown really - rooms shoddy past there sell by dates-no shower gel in bathroom containers- reported but never refilled. Free breakfast was a joke Coffee tea yes 3 day old fruit Cheap croissants Pretty disgusting"

"Our stay got off to an unacceptable start and never recovered. Upon arrival, we were given a room number and access code that unlocked a room which was clearly already occupied. This is a serious security and privacy issue for both us and the guests staying in that room. It was also incredibly embarrassing and left us feeling very unsettled from the moment we arrived. After that, we were given a second room, only to find that it hadn't been cleaned since the previous guests had checked out. At this point, our confidence in the hotel's management and housekeeping was completely gone. We were then offered a third room, but it wasn't the room type we had originally booked. We were told we could move again the following morning, but after already being sent from one room to another twice, we simply couldn't face the hassle of packing up and switching rooms yet again. We decided to stay where we were rather than go through the same rigmarole another time. The entire check-in experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. Basic procedures such as assigning the correct room and ensuring it has been cleaned should be the minimum standard for any hotel. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below expectations, and I wouldn't recommend staying here."
