Lovely quiet hotel, great location and extremely clean. Owners are very friendly and the fresh orange juice at breakfast was perfect. One weeks stay, very good location for the Main Street with all the shops, midway between the two beaches and 100m max from the bus stop.

We had an excellent stay here. Lovely, quiet room. Beaut balcony with shutters and peaceful outlook. Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice was a highlight and differed slightly each day. Would stay again and highly recommend.

A rare gem - the hotel has a very nice vibe and I wouldn’t swap the 'human touch' for anything else. If you’re looking for a very decent small hotel in the middle of the town but equally on a very quiet street - don’t think twice. It offers delicious breakfasts, a small library, extremely friendly owners and something else I can’t put in words… I already miss Glaros!

My husband and I loved the hotel. It wasn't fancy but the location is central to everything in paleochora and we felt extremely safe. The staff is family and they are very kind and helpful. They serve free breakfast daily which was excellent. I highly recommend hotel glaros.

Fantastic value for money. Great breakfast that includes everything that anyone could want. The owners/ managers of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room is incredibly clean and cleaned every day with fresh linen. The hotel is in the centre of town so everything including the beaches are close by.

The family that run this place are very kind and welcoming. The hotel was very basic but in paleochora this is expected. They had hot water for shower every time and the rooms were cleaned daily. They offer free breakfast daily which was great. Short walk to everything in paleochora very central location. I absolutely loved that we stayed here. The only complaint would be the beds were uncomfortable but that's probably just me being spoiled with mine at home. Definitely recommend glaros if staying in paleochora.

Glaros hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s located in a quite back street but only a few minutes walk from both beaches and all the restaurants, bars and shops, so it’s very quiet at night time. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and the mountains as a backdrop. The door to the balcony was very secure and soundproof plus it had a shutter to block out the light. The room was spotless and the bathroom had a lovely big cubicle shower with a rainfall shower head, a real treat in Crete! But the absolute best part was the amazing and generous breakfast. It’s a family run hotel and they are so friendly and happy to please. An absolute bargain at €50 per night including breakfast!
