2-Star Hotels in Palawan

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of March/early April 2023. We loved the place, but some extra pointers might help others decide whether this is a good fit for them too. 1/ Note that this beach is only accessible by boat (about 30 min ride, 300PP pp), which is great because we had lots of privacy and calm. You'll need to arrange a shuttle. People at Arkadia can help (if you haven't made contact before arrival, I would advise arriving no later than early afternoon so your transfer can be arranged). 2/ The manager, Olga, can cook for you, usually rice, veggies, fish or chicken (I am vegetarian and it went well). In the morning, we had an omelette and toast. Tell the manager in advance so they can gather the necessary ingredients. A small selection of sodas and beers is also available to purchase. You can also stock up when going to Sabang Town. Bring your water! 3/ The manager may share their (personal?) WiFi connection with you in the common area if you need it. 4/ The rooms are basic but good enough (more on the rustic side). Hopefully, you won't be scared by a few ants or other bugs wandering around. A mosquito net was provided. 5/ Don't be surprised, electricity comes after sunset (for us, it was between 6pm and 10pm). No AC, so you can appreciate the sound of the waves fully. Hope this is helpful! We had a great time on this beautiful beach.

A cheap simple accommodation option, we've got everything in the most, but if you're looking for comfort, you better choose options more expensive. The room is spacious, there is a bathroom, but everything is quite twisted, wouldn't mind a little upgrade. There was not enough shelves in the room and hooks in the bathroom, things had to be folded just on the floor. We spent only two nights there and therefore no claims, but for a long time for a rest would have chosen something more comfortable.

Hotel with many rooms located in the center of the town, 200 meters from the sea. Double rooms on the ground and upper floors, spartan but quite spacious. The cleaning service is carried out only before the arrival of the guests and not during the stay. They offer a simple breakfast but you can make do with it. Good value for money.

A good hotel with rooms for each guest. 3 minutes to the pier. Great hosts. The hotel is in an old style, very interesting. It was quiet and calm.
