Very good nice clean excellent breakfast

The hotel is very peaceful and nicely arranged. Although you can walk into Afitos it was a bit hot for us so we used taxis which were 5 Euros each way. The pools are lovely. The rooms and in particular bathrooms are lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we stayed half board and found the evening menu a bit samey and the food not very hot. The hotel could do with some Air Con in the waiting lounge area as it got very warm waiting for our departure coach and late check out for the room would have been pricey. Beach is very nice but steps down are pretty steep.

We chose this hotel because of good reviews and its close walk to Afytos village. We were in a new building , sea facing suite Bed was comfortable . Great toiletries . Towels for pool easily available Breakfast a bit same daily but loads to choose from everyday and such an amazing friendly lot of staff The Bar area to sit for drinks or coffee later on has stunning sea views Can reach the beach but we thought it was too hot to give it a go we were told sea was good to swim in. Cons are Need to collect towels from reception lovely gym but maybe better AC The a la carte menu could vary a bit ? Overall the staff were fantastic Makes all the difference The cleaning ladies were tireless The gardner never stopped Well run hotel

Very nice room with lovely view and balcony. A/C, safe and fridge included. Large, very comfortable bed. Great bathroom with bath/shower, double basins and toiletries. Very clean and well tended hotel and grounds. Fabulous breakfasts every day. Attentive staff and poolside service. So peaceful around the pool for the occasional dip to cool off. Walk into town (15 minutes) then taxi back 5 Euros. Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing break.

Travelled with my sister to, what I would describe as, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. All the hotel staff, front of house, bar and restaurant staff, cleaning services staff went over and above to ensure everyone had a wonderful stay. All so very helpful. The hotel itself has stunning sea views, a wonderful pool, and very comfortable seating areas for dining and lounging. The location of the hotel has direct access to a lovely beach, down lots of steps, but not too strenuous if you take it steady. Lovely little beach below. Also Athitos is only about 600 metres away, a really beautiful village with lots of tavernas, lovely little shops, bars and bakeries. Our holiday was very relaxing and the Greek people so welcoming. I'm thinking in the hight of season it will be very busy but in May it was perfect for us.

Had 2 brilliant weeks here. Everything was pretty much perfect. The views were the best I've seen and I've been to a lot of beautiful places. The room was fine needs a bit of touching up in places. Breakfast was ok same as any other hotel. The usual cheese cooked meats ceral. Cooked breakfast fruit tea coffee cakes. The staff at this hotel make the holiday that's my opinion. Bar, restaurant, cleaning,staff were lovely. Little Maria in the breakfast room was lovely really friendly. (Hope you have a lovely holiday -honey moon). Would definitely recommend you won't be disappointed.

Such a wonderful hotel in a spectacular location. We both had a wonderful time and would dog back. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of sparkling wine and showed to our room by Sophia, who also showed us where the restaurant and pool were located. Our room (416) was spacious and comfortable. It faced one of the hotel’s other buildings and beyond that the sea. There was a little garden outside. The bathroom felt luxurious. In June it was fairly easy to get a lounger by the pool. The beach was 160 ish steps down, some of which were quite steep. Wonderful to see small, primrose coloured butterflies on the way down. The beach is sandy and slopes down very gently. The beach cafe provides loungers for customers spending 9 works plus, which seemed very reasonable ( would recommend the ice cream!!!). A generous breakfast buffet was provided at the hotel, with an array of sweet and savoury delights! Would recommend the apple pie and the small apple tartlets. Staff were all friendly and kind. A special thanks to the 3 Maria’s and Theo from the restaurant, who seemed genuinely delighted that we were having a wonderful time. Afytos itself is a 10-15 mini walk away. It is very pretty with lots of shops, bars and restaurants

Just returned after seven days staying in this wonderful hotel. What an absolute delight , the room we stayed in (217) had a huge crescent shaped balcony with sun beds and a fabulous panoramic view of the hotel and coastline. The staff were amazing, from the reception, bar staff, cleaners and breakfast staff (especially Maria who was very attentive) The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard and breakfast had a great choice. I would highly recommend this hotel. There are 150 steps down to the beach, but providing you have no walking difficulties and are of average health they were not too difficult as the steps are in stages and not continuous, there is only a handrail on the top section. Will definitely be returning, thank you Blue Bay Hotel 10 out of 10 👍

From the moment we arrived till leaving, we had a fantastic time at the Blue Bay. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable big bed, small fridge and amazing bathroom! We had a superior double with a side sea view. The ladies who cleaned our room everyday were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was between 7 and 11 each morning with a really good selection of hot and cold buffet style. I had fresh fruit, eggs, toast, croissants and coffee most mornings. There was plenty to choose from. The hotel has 2 pools, a smaller one and a much larger one with lots of comfortable sun loungers around them. Pool towels are free, beach towels are 1 euro each. We did walk down to the nearby beach to swim. There must have been close to 100 steps, but they were gradual and quite manageable for most people with a reasonable fitness level. We ate some snacks at the bar and these were delicious and well presented. The staff were always pleasant and very polite. We ate out most evenings at nearby Afytos, a 10-15 minute walk. 5 euros by taxi. Our favourite was the taverna of staki. The staff were great and the food some of the best we ate. Average price for a couple who ordered starters, main and drinks totalled around €45. Some lovely shops too. All in all, I would recommend the Blue Bay hotel 100%. It was relaxing, well equipped, well run and had fantastic staff. Huge plus was the weather. A really sunny and warm week for early October! Thank you Blue Bay hotel!
