My wife and I have just returned from the Panama hotel, We stayed for a week and upgraded to All inclusive for £92 instead of half board. On arrival (1330) we were told the room would be ready after 1400,this seemed to be a regular thing. We were also told the tourist tax would be €48 and if you want to use the safe in you room €38 and €10 cash deposit. Unfortunately the reception didn’t tell us when the times were for breakfast or dinner or about the other bar in the hotel. Breakfast 0800-1000 Lunch. 1300-1430 Dinner. 1900-2100 We stayed in room 304, nice balcony and to the rear of the hotel so no noise from the rest of the hotel. Room was spacious and clean, air con works great as long as you keep the door to the balcony closed or reset it (turn it on and off) if you go outside. The food was good with plenty to choose from. The token for a plastic cup is abit strange but you get used to it. The other bar is quiet but is only open from 1500-2100 but is certainly the better bar if you want a quiet drink on a terrace. Didn’t go around the pool but it looked ok but not much space . Went on the beach instead 5 minute walk and the choice of 3 lovely beaches. Hotel is well located and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Staff were lovely. Read the reviews after booking this hotel and I was very pleased with our stay can only say it must be high season. No hen or stag parties while we were there.

Rooms large and comfortable and hotel close to everything, those were the only positives Never known a hotel to take so much money for everything. €64 for a safe and another €20 for towels was ridiculous and far more expensive than I have ever paid at any other hotel. We were there for 10 days and our floor wasn’t mopped once in that time. Was impossible to walk around in bare feet, especially before getting into bed. Had 2 sachets of coffee on check in which weren’t replaced so had to buy more at the supermarket. coffee cups only changed twice so had to be washed in the sink to be reused The food wasn’t great unless you wanted pork or fish every night and the desserts were all made from the same cream but just in different colours. We also regularly had to clear our own plates and get our own cutlery at meal times. AI drinks weren’t great, the beer just came out as foam every single time This is not a 4 star hotel and unfortunately would not return

Lovely hotel. Food poor and cold. All inclusive drinks poor. Staff poor. Antonio in the bar was excellent. Rooms not cleaned to a good standard.

I don’t know how this is classed as a four star hotel, for an adult only hotel they do a great kids menu , the food was horrendous nothing was hot, same food over and over all week, staff not very friendly, tea and coffee facilities in room but not replenished at all through out the week we had to go to reception and ask for things. No poolside entertainment at all, and evening entertainment was almost non existent apart from bingo every night. A couple of days soft drinks machine in bar area was only giving out water. Long queues in bar in the evenings because only one bar person serving and he had to stop to make cocktails, definitely not worth going all inclusive.

The room was very spacious and clean it is very close to the beach The staff was very friendly but don't waste your money bye going all inclusive because it doesn't pay The food was same old thing every day if you like chips that much and you like cold food then it's for you we even went out for dinner when go to get snacks all you sea is ants cruling Near food. Hotel advertised 4 star The hotel is 4 star so don't fooled

We have been coming to this hotel for 4 years , and this trip will be our last. We are very disappointed with the range of food on offer for evening meals , pasta every night , chips but no other potato choice they did have jacket potatoes but because of complaints about not cooked through they removed them. Very little meat choices, had fish several times but found that very boney , had mussels and clams ,a lot of mussels not open so gave them a miss . Had paella one night meals are served between 19:00- 21:00 i came at 20:00 and it had all gone,and told there was no more, the same on a Mexican night Chilli con carne all gone by 20:00.Breakfast ok usual buffet . A good selection of sweets.so im sad to say this will be our last trip to the Panama Hotel not a 4 Star in my opinion .,also broken missing lock on the gents WC ground floor it was missing year previous.
