Nice location, 5-10 min walk to big supermarket and decent restaurants.

We just stayed for one night, but it was a good experience. The hotel is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and both the room and bathroom are spacious. There was little light in the room and the airconditioning only stayed at 23 which was a little warm for us.

The hotel is close to a main street with shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a subway station, hence very convenient. The room is spacious There is a gym too. The only thing i want to comment is it only offers 2 free bottles of water to guests the first day. After the first day, no more free water.

The hotel is close to metro station. The room is clean and big. Water should be 1 bottle per day not 2 bottles per stay. This is stupid. Check-in is slow because only one person is there.

Friendly helpful staff and comfortable room. The laptop sized in-room safe was much appreciated as was the fridge. Overall quite a nice hotel in a convenient location and would definitely stay again.

Nice and clean hotel but location a little bit far from all attractions. For me it wasn’t a problem as you can get there quickly and cheaply by taxi

Novotel was clean with very pleasant staff. The location is very walkable and the breakfast is excellent!

This is our go-to hotel in Panama City. It's not the best hotel, but it is unbeatable for its price and location. El Cangrejo has a nice local vibe, with locals walking their dogs, numerous cafes and restaurants, and convenience stores. There is a subway station within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the hotel needs an upgrade in terms of furniture and decoration; the rooms are a bit dark and could benefit from better lighting.

First room: extremely loud music from the neighboring room. Plus, no water bottles in the room. First, asked reception for water bottles, didn’t come. Then, decided to change the room due to the noise. Reception guy gave me a bit of an attitude (again at check out), but changed the room. Second room: quiet. Had two water bottles outside the fridge. And one opened half empty water bottle in the fridge. I let it go. Decided that this hotel has a bit a standard issue. Not at the same level as other Novotels I have visited so far.

Location is pretty good, safe district with a number of restaurants / local foods. Room is quite “standard” for Novotel, a bit “old-fashioned”. Breakfast is not too various, a choice of 3-4 hot dishes. Pretty good for short stay.
