Mayfair Garden Resort

The hotel is excellent. When we booked, we were skeptical about the ratings because there weren't many reviews on Trip, but everything turned out great. The hotel is new, everything is clean, and nothing is out of place. The location is also excellent – ​​5 minutes from Alona Beach and relatively far from all the entertainment, which provides at least some peace and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was also excellent – ​​always clean. Airport transfers are available for 500 pesos if needed. I really liked the fact that you can take diving courses or try a dive with training in the pool. There are a few minor drawbacks, however: there was no soap at the sink, no toothbrushes, no slippers, and no robes. This isn't a big deal and is possible if you ask, and the staff will at least provide hand soap. There's also an issue with the bathroom door – it doesn't close properly, and you have to force it shut. Overall, the experience was excellent, and a big thank you to the diving instructor for the experience. If we ever come back again, we will definitely book here.

There was a large, live cockroach on the stairs in the room, but otherwise I was quite satisfied. The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, and it was cleaned promptly every day. The front desk provided cookies and snacks daily. At night, I could hear music from the nearby entertainment venue playing until the early hours of the morning.
