The Bellevue Resort

I originally booked a 5-night stay, but my flight was canceled due to a typhoon, shortening it to 4 nights. I tried to negotiate with the hotel several times to get a refund for one night, but they refused. Eventually, Ctrip's customer service helped us get the room fee converted into a credit for other services. The hotel service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The spa was also a great deal at 2500P for two people.

I don't want to write too much, but I hope Chinese travelers who see my review will refuse to stay at this hotel. There are simply too many better options at the same price point. I can't even describe this hotel as 'dirty' – the blankets had blood and urine stains! The hygiene here is worse than a youth hostel. They give out freebies for good reviews, or if they don't clean the room. Is this what a five-star hotel should be like? Isn't daily cleaning a basic service? We might not always need it, but you can't just not have it! Just look at the pictures of the blanket – I only discovered this when they changed the duvet cover on the fourth day, after I'd already stayed for three nights! And the hotel didn't even apologize. I'm speechless.

My overall experience at Belleview Resort Bohol was very satisfying. The resort is built along the coastline, with clean and fine sand, and crystal-clear water. Facilities like the swimming pools and walking paths are well-maintained, and the lush greenery creates a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly, check-in and check-out are efficient, and requests are handled promptly. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-lit, offering great sea views right from the bed. Complimentary toiletries are also comprehensive. The resort's convenient location makes getting around easy. With a rich variety of dining options, it's suitable for both family and leisure travelers. It’s definitely a worthwhile choice for a stay in Bohol, and I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

The best accommodation in peaceful Bohol. Absolutely wonderful! The staff are friendly, and the room condition was excellent. The food is delicious too. It's a place I'd love to visit again.

This was by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during the May Day holiday. The common areas on the first floor are really well-decorated, and the hotel offers a wide range of activities and things to do. The food was just okay; breakfast was mediocre, and lunch, dinner, and drinks were all pretty average. But then again, I didn't have high hopes for Filipino food in general. The hotel's service and cleanliness were top-notch, and the beach was beautiful with options like sailing and kayaking. The biggest surprise was the scuba diving experience – the two masters were genuinely lovely, and we had an amazing time over four to five hours for 4000 pesos, seeing so much marine life. I'll definitely be back to stay here next time!

My stay at Bell Resort was a bit disappointing. The hotel's facilities are quite old, and while the exterior environment is decent, the in-room amenities are in urgent need of renovation. During our stay, the elevator was out of order for a long time. It only got fixed after we complained to Ctrip, which made us seriously suspect the hotel was deliberately delaying repairs. There was a lot of noise late at night (like a thumping, 'club-like' sound). After we reported it to Ctrip, the hotel did absolutely nothing to address it, simply pushing the blame onto external sounds. The night noise severely impacted our rest. Overall, the check-in experience wasn't great, and I wouldn't highly recommend it, especially if you're particular about the age and condition of hotels. The natural surroundings were okay, just average.
