North Zen Villas

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The environment was also great; the room was spacious with beautiful natural scenery, and there was a lovely bamboo forest boardwalk and a swimming pool. The food was exceptionally delicious too. It's a perfect resort hotel with no downsides, apart from being a bit far from the bustling areas.

This place is a bit further from the city center, which makes it quieter and more peaceful – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation is beautiful and very clean, which I really liked. You can even walk to the Bamboo Walk and catch a nice sunset there! For breakfast, it's not a buffet; you get to choose what you want and where you'd like to eat it – either in your room or in the restaurant. The taste, though... it's just so-so, haha. If there were more restaurants nearby, skipping breakfast and eating out would be an option, but unfortunately, there aren't many. Still, if I go to Bohol again, I'd definitely stay here!

Facilities: The room door lock was loose and wouldn't open. I had to call staff, only to find out you had to press it down really hard to get it open. The bathtub in the bathroom leaked water all over the floor, making it soaking wet. Environment: I specifically booked a room with a swimming pool, but the pool lights were broken. It was pitch black and swarming with mosquitoes. Service: Absolutely terrible. The room rate was already extremely expensive for Panglao Island! My breakfast order wasn't delivered on time for two consecutive days, despite numerous calls! An absolutely dreadful experience! Definitely not worth the price!!!!

To sum it up, I was extremely satisfied! We were a group of four couples, university friends, and we stayed in two Zen Villas. Each Zen Villa has two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, with a bathroom in every room, so it was perfectly comfortable for two couples. The large dining table was great for all eight of us to gather and socialize every evening. They even provided a microwave, induction cooktop, cutlery set, and refrigerator, which was fantastic – we were able to cook seaweed soup for a friend's birthday! The swimming pool was large enough for ball games, and the exotic trees and landscaping throughout the resort were absolutely beautiful. I'll never forget the sunset on the first day. Even after the sun went down, the sky transformed into various shades of red for a long time... it was truly magnificent. Even on a rainy day, the bamboo bridge through the mangrove forest was incredibly atmospheric. When they heard it was our friend's birthday, they even prepared a lovely little cake with a birthday message! Plus, on our last day, after our tour, we got free access to the Oceanica Day Use facilities. For breakfast, you just fill out a form the night before at the lobby, specifying your menu, preferred time, and whether you want room service, dining at the restaurant, or a packed meal. The food and desserts were clearly made with care, and every meal was a delight. A big thank you to all the resort staff! ^^

Amazing place! We stayed here for the Im5150 Bohol race. Two families shared one villa. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and tub, with a shared kitchen and veranda, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. The mattresses were great, as was the service and breakfast! The grounds are magnificent and beautiful. We highly recommend this place. Everything can be paid for with a Visa or Mastercard. They can also arrange airport pick-up and drop-off.

The hotel's overall environment is very tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle, making for a very relaxing stay, perfect for travelers who need a good rest. The room was clean and tidy, with new facilities, and good soundproofing. It was very quiet at night, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The hotel's location is still convenient; getting around doesn't feel remote, balancing both convenience and peace. The overall check-in experience was very comfortable, making this a hotel I'd definitely choose again.

Excellent hotel. Delicious breakfasts, good food in the restaurants, and generous portions. There's also a scenic bamboo walkway through the mangrove forest.
