Mgh Alona Resort

The hotel is super close to Alona Beach, about a 2-minute walk away. I was really happy with the price, cleanliness, and facilities. The pool was spotless; I saw staff cleaning it every day, and the grounds were immaculate. Breakfast was good too, I especially loved the sliced mangoes they offered. If I had to pick a downside, it's that being so close to the beach means early sleepers might find the music from the beach a bit loud. But it quieted down by midnight.

I didn't like the hotel; it felt like an anthill of Koreans. The rooms were small, dark, with almost no furniture, and the bathroom was awful. Breakfast was okay though.

The room was very clean, the garden was lovely, and it wasn't too noisy. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Alona Beach. There's also a fantastic Korean restaurant right next to the hotel – seriously delicious and very affordable!

Great location and there's parking available (just ask the lady at reception, and she'll tell you how to get there). The cleaning is good, even though the hotel is a bit old. They even let us check in an hour early! Breakfast is an acquired taste, but there's always delicious mango, pineapple, and watermelon.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, and its location is super convenient, really close to the landmark McDonald's. It's highly recommended if you're planning day trips or island hopping and just need a place to sleep at night.

Honestly, my overall impression of the facilities was just average. I didn't really get a resort vibe, but there was a pool that I had all to myself in the morning since no one else was using it. Breakfast was buffet-style, and the selection remained the same throughout my stay. The hotel is located about a 3-minute walk from Alona Beach, right in the heart of the main bustling area. There were plenty of restaurants, and it was lively at night, but I barely heard any noise inside the hotel. If you're looking for a hotel in a lively area, this place offers good value for money. For Japanese travelers, the shower pressure might feel weak, but it's pretty standard for the Philippines. Hot water was readily available. I didn't encounter any pests in my room during my stay.

The hotel is decent, but it lacks soul... We came for breakfast a bit late and it was almost empty. There's a small, clean pool.

A wonderful hotel with very responsive and attentive staff and management. They were very understanding and did everything possible to help with a non-refundable booking. They clean every day. Nice bedding and towels. Delicious breakfast.
