Bohol Begonia Resort

The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful, changing our room three times until we finally got one with clean sheets. A word of advice: check your bedsheets carefully! 😆 We probably wouldn’t have checked if they hadn’t warned us at check-in that we would be charged for staining the sheets. So we checked… and ironically found blood stains, oily marks, and some other very questionable stains that I’ll leave to your imagination. 🤣 After that, we checked every room carefully and jackpot! You can see the pictures I posted. Apart from this, the AC worked great and the staff were genuinely excellent. However, after having to change rooms three times, I would have expected some kind of commercial gesture, even something simple like a complimentary breakfast but of course we got none …

Staff are accomodating.clean rooms specially with free laundry which is necessity. Like the pool so much. Quiet place .

Honestly, the hotel is pretty decent. The beds are very soft and comfortable, so sleeping was great. For me, the main issue was the soundproofing. It feels almost like you’re sleeping outside, as there are local houses right next to the hotel with animals like chickens and pigs. You can hear pigs at night and roosters very early in the morning. The neighbors also played loud music until around 2 a.m., which was quite uncomfortable for me. However, if you’re planning to stay on this island, it’s still a pretty good option. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and overall it’s a decent place to stay.
