Grecotel Marine Palace & Aqua Park

One of the best family vacation I had, the staff are really friendly, helpful and professional. The all inclusive food and service is excellent and hotel atmosphere is relaxing. The water park and pools are in good condition and there is lots to do. The only suggestion is that the rooms could be modernised. Definitely recommend as a must visit hotel.

A really five star hotel, excellent facilities, an impressive aqua park, big rooms, clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff, good food and a very big variety of it, value for money. We had amazing time and we will certainly return back!!!

Amazing everything - rooms are cleaned every day, staff is very friendly and helpful with any queries I had. I went solo as a last minute decision. This is a family hotel, so expect children, a lot of nationalities, which is a plus in my opinion. Hotel has private beach, which was my prerequisite as I love a swim in the sea. The best of all is the food, I have always loved greek cuisne and the hotel did not dissapoint - trere are plenty of options available from other European coutries as well as the local traditinal meals. There are several restaurants on the grounds - italian, greek, mediterranean.

The best vacations ever! The staff is super nice - always with a smile, always ready to assist with any question or enquiry. Especially Eleni :) The hotel territory is huge and well maintained - tidy, green and full of blossoms. Kids discoteque, fitness area, basketball court - you name it :) Rooms are spatious and tidy, well maintained. Kids loved the aquapark - we also enjoyed our free time while they were occupied there :) Really really RECOMEND :)

Perfect hotel. Fresh and delicious food: fish, pork, chicken, vegetables and others. Good vine and cocteils. Very good crepes with nutella and fresh strawbeery. Childrens likes it. Super aqua park and pool. Good persons, thanks! :) Lithuania

Three generations booked family bungalow side sea view as advertised as king or twin beds with separate twin beds. Arrived after 1am not offered a drink or snack or given any information on where the drink stations were. Got to our “bungalow” and was in what Grecotel advertise as a family room with twin beds with sliding door (which didn’t close) and two sofa beds. My daughter went to reception and asked if we were in the correct room as it had sofa beds to be laughed at and told yes that’s correct. Had to ask for a hairdryer and three times had to ask for extra pillows. Following morning spoke to our rep and told she would get back to us. Day three asked members of staff who walked past which accommodation we were in and told a family room, reception rang us 20 minutes later and told us this was a bungalow. Contacted a manager and explained we booked on the understanding we would get proper beds and this was advertised by themselves as a family room. My 5’8 26 year old daughter was too tall to sleep on a sofa bed. After three nights was offered another room but wasn’t ground floor so declined. Then offered what I was told was their best suite which faced onto the road, noisy from early morning with deliveries and fork lift, coaches arriving day and night, general traffic and people walking by, suite was not updated, old small shower cubicle which flooded the bathroom every time we showered the children as had to have cubicle door open and the shower head was so clogged with lime scale it spurted out at an angle, a hairdryer on the wall which was useless and the double bed made a lot of noise every time you got in or rolled over. Food was very repetitive, tasteless and cold, only things suitable for younger children at dinner was chips, pizza or spaghetti bolognaise. Ice cream and desserts were nice. Catered more for the German clientele which were the majority. Generally most of the staff were friendly but found some reception staff were rude. The girl at the entrance to the aqua park was lovely, disappointed there was nothing at the splash park for a one year old to play on but other children enjoyed it but did notice there was rarely a life guard at the splash park and never saw one at the pool we went to. Was very slippery around the pool and toilet area when wet and wasn’t mopped up just a sign put out. Sun loungers were hard to get as towels left on them all day. The only play area we found was at the kids club and was far too small for size of hotel. Only entertainment we went to was the 30 minute family disco at 830pm which was mainly in German. The hotel and grounds were very clean and the gardens were spotless, beach was nice with plenty of sun loungers. Overall we wouldn’t return due to the hostility felt towards us once we complained about our accommodation and the standard of food. There was also a lack of information unless you download the hotel app. Not really suitable for those with walking difficulties due to steep slopes/hi

We stayed at Grecotel Marine Palace from the end of May/beginning of June and have been so pleased with our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel and caters really well for families (we visited with our three children, 10, 7 and 4). We stayed in the Casa Marina Grand Family Suite which was really spacious - it had a ‘master’ bedroom with en-suite and even a jacuzzi tub in the room. The kids slept on single beds in the living/kitchen area which was huge and there was still plenty of space. The room also came with a large terrace with plenty of space for drying clothes, relaxing in the evening etc. Shower in the en-suite was great, nice and powerful, no issues with water pressure at all. The room was really clean and is also turned down daily by housekeeping. The food is excellent - it changes every day and there’s good variety. There was plenty of pasta, pizza and ice cream which kept our kids happy! There are also 4 different restaurants which offer a’la carte menus for an additional charge, although we had one a La carte meal included in our package. The aqua park is brilliant, loads of fun for both kids and adults, and there’s also a bar which serves snacks (sandwiches, crepes etc) throughout the day, as well as serving kids slushies, alcoholic and soft drinks. There’s a Blue Flag beach at the hotel which is lovely and a great place to spend the day, again with a small drinks and snack bar! The various pools are lovely - there’s a couple of smaller, quieter pools if you don’t want to hang out by the busier main pool. Our kids went to the kids club a few times which they really enjoyed - there’s a morning session (10-12:30) and an afternoon session (4-6:30) which run every day apart from Sunday and has various themes each day. This gave the parents a welcome break for a few hours each day! I thoroughly recommend this hotel for families as everything is so well thought out and considered. I’m sure we’ll be returning in future.

Excellent service - second to none. The staff can't do enough to help you and make sure your stay lives up to your expectations. Great water park and facilities for children. Very clean. Beautiful food. Highly recommended for a family. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
