Was fantastic, very friendly people, but: on the 28th I slipped due to a water leak from my shower, my wrist was badly bruised (in any case), was not treated seriously, the towel was put down and I had to beg for ice to cool down (husband). ) One of the women did give me ice cream Now; 1 week later: still can't use my hand Also: leakage in the dorm, ditto Not taken seriously, they also put a towel down there and after mentioning it again: nothing, so I grabbed dry towels and threw the soaked ones in their cage Too bad, because it was otherwise good Of course, I should have called a doctor right away and paid them, in retrospect Now: my bikini bottoms are still there, they won't send them to me, even if I pay It was all annoying, because it was otherwise excellent, although I had the only creaking bed and I didn't sleep for 11 nights

I needed a one night hotel before getting on a cruise and decided to book a private room here as everything else on the island seemed to be 200£+ (3x the price of Mahana). The staff were nice when I arrived at 6am and let me store my luggage until the 2pm check in. The private room itself was basic but acceptable - it had AC & towels but quite a few marks on the bedding. The bathrooms were really quite grim - lots of bugs, smelled rough and the floor always seemed to be wet. I wasn’t really wanting to make friends but I got the impression from being opposite the dorms that there are a number of long term residents and not many travellers. The dorms didn’t have aircon so had the windows open all night and the included breakfast seemed to be bread and jam. If you just want somewhere to sleep then it’s acceptable but one night was certainly enough.

They had the best complimentary Baguettes and butter and jam for breakfast. Air-conditioned rooms and helpful staff.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are all upstairs with no elevator. This was a perfect stay for a night between islands. We slept comfy with Air conditioning. We had a small breakfast included with toasts, cheeses, butter, jams, and juice. It was also located in the heart of Papeete so you can walk to the brewery, food trucks, or the market at any time. Would highly recommend this place for anyone on a budget or anyone in between islands for a night or two.

Given the price, we didn’t have high expectations, but we were still shocked. It all started quite well — when we arrived early in the morning, we were allowed to leave our luggage and go for a walk, which seemed promising. However, our optimism quickly disappeared when we picked up the room keys. The entire place smelled musty — the hallway, the room, even the dining area. Even the towels had that damp, unpleasant odor. The walls and doors are paper-thin, so you can hear absolutely everything happening in the corridor. The so-called “breakfast” consisted of a few slices of baguette and some cheap jams — honestly, it was a joke. We’re just glad we stayed only one night. Never again — next time, we’ll happily pay a bit more for a proper hotel!
