The hotel was fine. Comfortable, clean, nice staff. Breakfast was typical, no frills at all, but ok.

The hotel had just been renovated. I arrived in New York during the peak tourist season. The cheapest accommodation in Manhattan was US$700, not including parking fees. I found this hotel, which was convenient and priced at US$170.

The hotel is on the roadside, so it's not hard to find. It must have been a hotel before and then renovated. What's more frustrating is that there is no elevator, so you have to carry your 28-inch luggage up.

This is an economical and comfortable option in the area. This is an older building that has been considerably upgraded. We were also upgraded to a suite, which was large and comfortable. There are individual units for heat/cooling rather than a central system with a thermostat. The bathrooms are on the smaller side. But the service was super friendly, everything was very clean, and they didn't skimp on providing little extras like toothbrushes. Breakfast was similar to that of a more expensive hotel with a waffle station and hot breakfast options along with cold ones. Overall, a very good experience.

Very clean. Only negatives, Person checking us in didn’t say anything , no salutation, no prompt. Just expected me to know what she wanted. And doors slamming at all hours.

I came here with a baby on my arms at 3am after a new year’s celebration , specifically to have a peacful night and not drive home at night. I reserved the room well in advance. I also checked in online couple of hours prior me coming in. They messed up and it turned out the gave my room to someone else. Someone literally came and sign a paper with my name on top of that paper. That means if that person ate something or got something from a hotel , it couldve ended up on my card. They did not ask their ID! And the front desk guy refused to wake them up saying it was a middle of the night. And we were standing with baby in the middle of the night. The guy could not give me another room for like 40 minutes. He gave me a different room but with one bed. And we needed two beds.
Needless to say we had sleepless night. I complained to a manager over the email. He never replied. They cared about customers who signed without ID under my name but they could care less about us with a baby. No words.

Well done renovation. However, like most renovations the focus was decor not fixing basic infrastructure deficiencies. A few $$ invested in new plumbing might address the poor water pressure in the bathroom sink…barely a trickle.

Quick check in, common and individual rooms in very good condition and clean. Breakfast was ok, not great. Small parking area; high traffic volume
