If there was a 0-star option, I would've given it. This place is absolutely terrible. The front desk staff clearly discriminates against Asians. The elevator was broken for two days, and they made guests use the service elevator, which was cluttered with dirty linens and used dishes. It was a complete mess. The service elevator entrance wasn't guarded, and you didn't need a key card to access floors, making it a security risk. Next to the hotel were homeless people, and there was construction across the street, making the overall environment chaotic. We checked in at 6 PM and were assigned a corner room with midges, an incredibly dirty carpet with accumulated grime, and black handprint stains on the sheets. We went to the front desk to switch rooms, but didn't actually check into a new room until 10 PM, waiting almost 4 hours. The front desk was often unstaffed. We really paid to suffer. In contrast, Hotel Eiffel Blomet, right next door, was excellent. Their service was great, it felt very safe, it was next to the district government office, and the police station was less than 200 meters away. Plus, there was a Carrefour and Monoprix supermarket nearby. The location wasn't any worse than this Vaugirard hotel, and the environment was much quieter, with a swimming pool. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Hotel Eiffel Blomet.

The hotel is located in the 15th arrondissement, right across from the police station, so it feels very safe. It's also very close to the metro station, making transportation convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked great, and the service was warm and welcoming. Definitely recommended.

This was my second stay. The room was great, excellent value for money, and the service was fantastic. The front desk staff were very attentive and responsible. The location is convenient, with easy access to the subway and public transportation. The only downside was that the room lighting was a bit dim.

The hotel's location is pretty good; it's about a 10-minute drive to the main attractions. Being across from the police station, safety wasn't an issue at all. The room was quite clean, and the breakfast quality was excellent, especially the fresh squeezed juice you can make yourself, which was a nice touch. The service was also reasonably friendly.

Close to the metro station, and there's a police station right across the street, which made me feel extra safe, especially on the day the French team was playing. The room size was okay; two adults and two kids could just about manage to open two suitcases. Breakfast was quite good for European standards, though they didn't change up the selection much. I had seen reviews mentioning no air conditioning, so I specifically confirmed by email and through Trip.com that it had AC, which it did. However, it doesn't get as cold as AC in China. A big shout-out to the water dispenser by the elevator on each floor – being able to get sparkling water was awesome!

Our stay at Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse turned into one of the most distressing hotel experiences we have ever had. One morning, while we were in our room, the toilet suddenly began making unusual noises. Moments later, despite the fact that we had not used it, raw sewage and human waste unexpectedly erupted from the toilet. The sewage quickly flooded the bathroom and spread onto the carpeted area of the room. The smell was overwhelming, the sanitary conditions were shocking, and the room immediately became unsafe and completely uninhabitable. While sewage was still actively overflowing, we immediately contacted the front desk and requested another room. We were initially told that no rooms were available. During this delay, we had no choice but to hurriedly pack three large suitcases while trying to avoid stepping into sewage-contaminated water, adding unnecessary stress to an already traumatic situation. The hotel eventually relocated us to another room. However, relocating guests from a room contaminated by raw sewage is a basic emergency obligation—it should never be considered compensation. During the rushed relocation, my wife injured her neck while carrying our heavy luggage. The incident caused physical pain, emotional distress, lost vacation time, and significant disruption to our trip. What disappointed us most was not only the sewage incident itself, but the hotel’s response afterward. Not once did anyone from management proactively contact us. We received no phone call, no sincere apology, no expression of concern, and no follow-up to ask about my wife’s injury or whether we needed any assistance. We did not receive even the most basic courtesy of an apology. Instead, we had to contact the hotel ourselves to ask how the incident would be handled. Management responded in a firm and dismissive manner, stating that because we had already been moved to another room, they considered the matter resolved and that no further compensation would be provided. We were never asking for special treatment. We simply expected basic accountability, empathy, and a fair response to such a serious sanitation failure. Being moved to another room does not compensate for exposure to raw sewage, the stress of evacuating while sewage was actively overflowing, my wife’s injury, the disruption to our trip, or the complete lack of care shown afterward. We have retained photographs and videos documenting the sewage overflow and the contamination of the room. We cannot determine whether our background influenced the way we were treated. However, the dismissive attitude, lack of empathy, and unwillingness to engage in any meaningful discussion left us feeling disrespected, disregarded, and belittled. A hotel cannot always prevent unexpected maintenance failures. However, it is fully responsible for how it responds when those failures occur. In our case, the response fell far below the standard we expected from an international hotel brand. We strongly urge anyone considering staying at this hotel to think carefully. No guest should have to experience raw sewage flooding their room, suffer an injury while evacuating, receive no sincere apology, and then have their concerns treated as though they were insignificant. The sewage overflow was an accident. The complete lack of empathy, accountability, and basic human compassion afterward was a choice.

The cleanliness was passable – at least I didn't get bitten by bugs, but the bugs in the elevator lobby were a different story... The environment was decent. Many European tour groups stay here. The hotel is right next to the subway, and our room was on the side closer to the park, so it was very quiet. One time, we left the room with the key card in to keep the power on, but when we came back after grabbing a bite, the key card was gone. I went to the front desk to ask about it. I told them it's fine if they remove it, but they should leave it on the counter. Otherwise, what if they accuse me of missing a card, or what if they use a key card to enter my room whenever they want? A middle-aged woman, who seemed like a local French person, was incredibly arrogant. She didn't even look at me properly and simply replied, 'We just took it out.' The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to pull out the stopper every day.

Great location with many restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable, and there's a water dispenser in the hallway where you can get free refills, even sparkling water, which I love! Excellent value for money, and the front desk staff were very friendly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
