Novotel Paris les Halles

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The location of the hotel is truly excellent — very central, convenient, and perfect for exploring Paris. Being so close to Châtelet–Les Halles made getting around the city incredibly easy. Although we experienced an issue with our initial room, what impressed us most was the way the hotel handled the situation. The team listened carefully to our concerns and responded with genuine care and professionalism. They arranged a room change and kindly upgraded us to a suite, which completely transformed our experience. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and made the rest of our stay especially enjoyable. We were also very touched by the thoughtful surprise for my husband’s birthday. A lovely birthday note and chocolate, a bottle of champagne were waiting for us in the room, along with juice for our child. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, and it genuinely made us feel special. This lovely attention to detail became one of the memorable moments of our Paris trip. We truly appreciated the kindness, care, and effort shown by the team. Problems can occasionally happen at any hotel, but what really makes the difference is how they are handled. In our case, the team went above and beyond to make things right, turning an initially disappointing situation into a very positive experience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your hospitality, thoughtfulness, and for taking such good care of our family. We left with wonderful memories and would be very happy to stay here again on our next visit to Paris.

The hotel is in a very poor state and is clearly not being maintained to an acceptable standard. We stayed for four nights, and the first room we were given had heavily stained carpets and items left under the bed from a previous guest, which was unacceptable. To their credit, the front desk staff were helpful and arranged for us to move rooms. However, the replacement room was also not clean and had visible mould, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and overall maintenance standards. After four nights at the property, we developed sore throats and flu-like symptoms. While I cannot say with certainty that this was caused by the room conditions, the presence of mould and poor cleanliness was very concerning. This hotel does not meet the standard expected of a 4-star property or of the Novotel brand. Based on the condition of the rooms and the level of maintenance, it felt closer to a 2-star hotel. This was one of the worst-maintained Novotel hotels we have stayed in, and I would not recommend it unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness, mould treatment, and general upkeep. The only positive is the location.

Place is nice . Near mall and accessible to love and lot of tourist spot.

The hotel was located at a very central & convenient location just adjacent to a subway line and many wonderful restaurants and cafes. Scenic places were within walking distance and so convenient. The hotel was clean, has good & free wifi access and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend to those coming to Paris for an unforgettable holiday!

This hotel’s location is fantastic, with several public transport options all within a quick 3-5 minute walk. We loved being surrounded by so many great restaurants and having a large mall right behind us for easy shopping and dining. However, be aware that toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided, and the bathroom water pressure was quite low during our stay.
