This hotel is located in the 14th arrondissement, about an 8-minute walk from the metro and two bus lines on the main road. While it's a bit further from the main attractions, the neighborhood is very quiet. This was my first time staying at an Ibis, so my expectations weren't that high, but the room was surprisingly spacious for Paris! I could easily open up a 26-inch suitcase and still have room to walk around. The only downside was the lack of a safe, but the Black cleaning ladies were all very friendly and communicative, and didn't seem like they'd steal anything, haha.
The area around the hotel is very safe and pleasant, with plenty of restaurants and bakeries just a short walk away.
The hotel's cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Although I'm not sure how often the sheets are changed (you need to leave a card on the bed to inform the cleaning staff), I didn't feel itchy at all during my 6-night stay. It's a hotel with great value for money.

The room was tiny, and my suitcase barely fit, but I could live with that. What I couldn't accept was the hotel front desk not storing luggage. While many hotels do this, they did have lockers next to the lobby. My friend and I thought that was a decent alternative; at least our bags would be secure, even if we had to pay. When we went to Colonia, we left our suitcase in one of the hotel's lockable cabinets. We paid for four days, which was about 40 euros for one bag. However, when we returned to the hotel on the third night, I couldn't open the locker after entering the code. I called the front desk staff for help. After they called an engineer to open the locker, we discovered my suitcase wasn't inside! I was incredibly anxious and asked them where my suitcase was. While I was talking to the staff, my friend saw my blue suitcase in their office. We checked our luggage in front of them, and everything was fine inside. But I still asked them, 'Why is my suitcase in your office when I paid for four days?' They said the locker had a problem, that it was broken. So, the locker that happened to contain our two suitcases was the only one that broke? Pros: cleaning service was very good, we always got fresh towels and clean room. People at the reception were also very friendly.
Con: the air conditioning didn’t work? It made our room so humid and sticky, spoiled half of the fruits that we night one day before at the market… opening the window was a better option but bugs.. also the BED IS TWO SINGLE PUT INTO ONE. For couples really not ideal.. 😅

Metro stations are not far and there are a few nice restaurants nearby. It’s particularly good for travelers with dogs because it’s dog friendly. There is a professional vet close by who can administer tapeworms tablet before heading to U.K.

Second stay here. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. Getting here from the airport via the RER B is especially straightforward. You can cycle to Musée d'Orsay, Saint-Michel, and other spots in about 20 minutes. The rooms are better than other Ibis hotels nearby, and for Paris, the price is really good value.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It's located in the 14th arrondissement near Montparnasse, which is a relatively safe and quiet neighborhood, and close to the metro station.
