Timhotel Paris Gare du Nord

Right outside Gare du Nord, with a direct RER B line connection from the airport, this hotel was super convenient for getting anywhere. Highly recommend it for anyone prioritizing location!

First off, the room was incredibly noisy. It was located right by the train station road and near the elevator. Every so often, you could hear the elevator making a 'whooshing' sound. The soundproofing was also terrible; I could hear people talking next door and children crying. The towels and everything else were dirty, and the overall hygiene was subpar. This is honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The worst part of this trip was staying here. I tried to negotiate an early check-out with Trip.com, but they said the hotel wouldn't agree to it. I had no choice but to tough it out for three nights. To top it all off, there was never any shower gel in the bathroom.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station, with the subway and a KFC just downstairs. However, the cleanliness was subpar; the pillows had stains. What was particularly bothersome was the used bed linen and towels left right outside my door, making it impossible to even roll my luggage past. The breakfast was also very basic.

Great location. The rooms were a bit small but comfortable.
