Timhotel Palais Royal Reviews

We booked a double room six months ago and when checked in it was nothing like the picture. It’s dark, small, the window is facing the a back blank wall, it’s  filthy, toilet roll was half left, shampoo and stuffs are half way down. It was the day after our engagement, and we felt absolutely disappointed the moment we walked into the room. After we reflected to the receptionist, a gentlemen who was very helpful, we were told that the manger gave us one breakfast each to make up for it (we stayed for six nights and we had to move after two nights to a better room), we reflected our disappointment to the manager (an older man). And he spent good ten minutes trying to prove the point that ‘you don’t always get what you see’ rather than putting any sort of effort to make us feel welcome at all. After we insisted, he then agreed to give us the second breakfast. Despite the inconvenience that we needed to move the room during the stay, the man was holding the grudge the entire stay too - no greetings unless we greeted him first. I certainly won’t book here again if coming back to Paris but just want to let whoever wants to book here know, you don’t have a clue what you paid for (not the picture for sure).

The location of the hotel is very good, especially to the Louvre is very close, there are very many Japanese restaurants nearby.Apart from the fact that the hotel room was a little cramped, the experience was great, a great hotel experience.

It's too basic; there's barely enough room to turn around in the shower, and outside the window are other people's rooftops.

This hotel is conveniently located in the second arrondissement. Nearby are the Palais Royal, the National Library, and Asian restaurants. It's close to the Louvre. Everything is within walking distance. The room is very small, with a view of the wall. It's a shame there's no refrigerator. The linens and towels are clean.

The hotel is located in the center of Paris, and it is very convenient to travel. I booked a single room and it was upgraded to a double room for free. The front desk was very friendly, the hotel facilities were also quite new, and there was a restaurant next door. I was very satisfied and recommended

The hotel staff were very welcoming, and although the rooms weren't large, the location was excellent and the rooms were clean. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the Louvre and the Opera House, and there are many Asian restaurants and bubble tea shops nearby. It's considered one of the safer areas in Paris.

The staff were incredibly helpful! We arrived in the morning of our stay, and the woman at the front desk kindly stored our luggage and then offered us water to drink as we were heading out sightseeing! The staff's thoughtful attention to detail put us in a great mood from our first day in Paris. The room wasn't particularly large, but there was a dryer in the dressing room, which was extremely helpful for us as we were staying for an extended period and would be returning home late at night and couldn't go to the laundry. Another plus was that it was close to the tourist attractions and we didn't feel unsafe even at night! That said, it's not exactly in the heart of the tourist area, so you might want to be careful at night! I would definitely use this hotel again when I visit Paris!

Facilities: The house is still a bit old, but generally speaking it is clean and hygienic, and the price is reasonable for the location. Environment: You can walk to the Louvre, Opera House, and Galeries Lafayette. It's just a little noisy because it's on the street, but I don't mind it when I wear headphones to sleep. Service: The front desk service is quite good, and the room service is also very good. Overall, I recommend everyone to stay here. There are fewer breakfast options, but it's okay.

The location of the hotel is TOR!!! Everything is within walking distance!

Facilities: All regular supplies are available, including bathing and shampooing supplies, towels, hair dryers, etc., which is fine. I bring my own toothbrush and toothpaste, which is environmentally friendly♻️ha. Hygiene: clean, no dirt visible to the naked eye. Environment: The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, small boutiques, and many Japanese restaurants. Great choice for shopping and dining. Service: As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you will be greeted warmly and very well.

Recommended, friendly service, unlimited free drinks and water in the refrigerator, convenient dining around
