The picture shown here on the main page does not resemble the room we received. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, it was dark inside and outside. The receptionist escorted us to our room on the second floor, we went up the stairs to the first floor and from there we squeezed into the most crowded elevator in the universe to go up one floor.. Of course we didn't use it anymore and always went up on foot. The room is small, bathroom is small , crowded, dark, carpets, heavy curtains... Those who are allergic or looking for modern and pleasant design is not the place for them (like me). In the morning the small lobby turns into a dining room, a nice little breakfast. And the biggest advantage is the fantastic location of the hotel. Close to the Luxembourg Gardens, St. Germain Street in the center of the Latin Quarter.. but in my opinion not a 4 star hotel at all. There is no coffee machine or bottle of water in the room.. there is barely room for one suitcase. A really small closet. The hotel has only 25 rooms. And on the last day we had to take the luggage down the stairs ourselves. We chose this hotel based on recommendations we saw about the hotel and the high rating of the reviews, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel except for the great location
