Stayed in room 252.
This was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve had, not because of luxury expectations, but because a very basic function, room access completely failed.
The key card to my room did not work as the door lock had some issue for the entire 3-night stay. Asked for an alternative room and was informed not available and no clear timeline provided despite repeated checks. There was no solution and they left it as such.
I was initially told that staff would assist to open the door whenever needed, which was already inconvenient and invasive to our privacy. However, on one occasion, I was handed a master key and asked to open the room myself and return it afterwards. We were not comfortable with this and asked the staff to assist instead. Other times, we were unable to find the duty staff to unlock the door which caused us a lot of inconvenience.
This kind of inconsistency was confusing and felt unprofessional, and being given a master key raises serious concerns about security and hotel procedures. Guests should not be put in a position to handle master access.
I hope the hotel reviews its procedures seriously, as this experience does not reflect acceptable hospitality standards.
