Tashi Namgay Resort

Pathetic experience all together. Everything that they have advertised is misleading and these guys are out to cheat the guests. Hopeless food something one wouldn't serve even to an enemy. Very bad management behaviour starting with the top Mr. Lekhi the GM who simply doesn't want to listen to anything from the guests and is very arrogant. No amenities at all whatsoever neither for kids nor adults. I felt cheated, plundered and exploited by this resort. Not worth at all paying such exorbitant price for such pathetic experience. Bhutan Tourism if this is what we get as guests after paying SDF and everything else then I feel it's also your duty to check with the guests how they are being mistreated by the so called certified Hotels and Resorts in your beautiful country.

Very large and spacious property with many outdoor activities. Extremely well maintained and beautiful resort. Our room was spacious with beautiful private sit out. Room had a heater and fan. Bathroom slippers were provided. No dental/shaving kit was provided initially but was available on request. Double bed was actually two twin beds pushed togather with a gap and no mattress topper. Food was good in spread and taste. But restaurant got extremely crowded during dinner and restaurant staff struggled to manage things with items running out. There was unseasonal rain during our stay. Umbrella mamagement was a chaos Room cleaning was efficient. Of course all staff was polite and helpful

We had a lovely stay at Tashi Namgay Resort during our visit in May. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made our experience special was the exceptional hospitality. A special mention to Chepen, who was always so warm, helpful, and courteous throughout our stay. There was also another male staff member (whose name, unfortunately, I can't recall) who went out of his way to assist us with a smile every time. We are truly grateful to both of them. Thank you, Tashi Namgay Resort, for such a memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to visiting again soon!

nice place to stay over looking river and very close to airport but little bit away from city center...front office staff needs to be more educative as we settled bills previous night as we had to check out at 7am but still they made us wait atleast 15/20 minutes just to investigate if our paymnt which was done in cash is through or not

We stayed at the hotel for the last two nights of our stay in Bhutan. It is very convenient for the airport, in fact, the runway can be viewed from the hotel but because traffic is light this does not cause an issue. The hotel covers a wide area with blocks of rooms spread around the estate. We liked our room, we were in one of the newer blocks although this was located some distance from reception. It was very spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed, tv, safe, kettle and effective heater. Equally spacious bathroom although hot water availability was a little hit and miss on occasions. All the staff are most pleasant. The only slightly disappointing feature for us was the food, particularly the evening meal served buffet style which was heavily geared towards Indian cuisine with only limited western style options.

We spent 2 lovely nights here. The rooms are fine for what we needed and the country. Service was very good. Food selection is not huge but adequate and very much local cuisine. Thanks for a nice stay and experiencing your amazing country and culture.
