Avoid at all costs. Pathetic management and manager., Dining was below average. When a tap was broken they asked us to pay for it. The manager even threatened with dire consequences. Also food was strictly ok without any variety. We were given limited breakfast options, although breakfast was included in our package. Considering the limited choice, we requested for some item and were charged for it. Ratings: -5 on service -5 on staff behavior (especially the manager) 0 on food +3 on location but does not matter much, since runway sightings could be made from any road strip.... nothing else to offer here

A nice hotel on the periferary of Paro town down towards the airport. It is quite a healthy walk into town so you need to be mobile or arrange transport. A good view of the fortress from the elevated rooms. Good service provided by the friendly staff. The room was spacious but on the cold side as the heater was inadequate for the size of the room at this time of year. The restaurant provided nice tailor-made breakfasts and a nice evening meal though the second evening the meal lacked cohesion and the dishes did not fit well together, though each was tasty in isolation. Vegan diet accommodated upon request.

Fantastic view of airport. Just up the hill from the airport. Very good value for 3 star resort. Approx 40 usd a nite. Spacious rooms. Clean. Didnt try the restaurant. Convenient for a morning flite and if u want to watch the flites landing- have entire view of runway

One of worst experiences I had. The room does not have proper heating. The food is absolutely terrible. The staff doesn't know how to serve. They could not even give us bowls for the soups we ordered. Never again!! It is surprising that the staff is not able to come up with easy solutions.

Nothing special but really good hotel in Paro. It is located on the side of the city and airport. Rooms are big with comfortable beds. Unfortunately my had a bathroom with a tube not walk-in-shower. Dinners were extremely average but eatable.

This was a repeat visit for me as I escorted a group of 25 high school students with several nights at the resort. The rooms are large and "Bhutanese style" rather than built in an American style, much to my liking. It is centrally located, only minutes away from Paro's attractions. Being near the airport is convenient and noise is not a problem as there are no night flights. The staff is attentive and responded immediately to any requests. Excellent value for a 3 star rating.

I stayed at the Khangkhu Resort twice on my visit to Bhutan and it was a great experience both times! The close proximity to the airport was very convenient. Additionally, the rooms were very spacious and could comfortably sleep two people. The staff was very hospitable and anytime we had questions they were quick to assist. Every morning they provided a great breakfast that usually included eggs, cereal, bread, and other assorted foods. Also, the on our last night the team provided a wonderful farewell dance that was full of traditional dances and music.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was big but had a musty smell. We had asked for a bed to be put in for our daughter but all that was done was a mattress setup on the floor. Also, there were bugs and flies in the room. It was a warm day in Paro and there was no fan or Aircon in the room.. Food at the restaurant was so terrible that we had to eat out all meals, including breakfast. Other than the view from our balcony, everything else was low grade.
