Henry's Newport Deluxe Condotel

We had a fantastic stay at our unit in 150 Newport, Newport City, Philippines! The location is incredibly convenient, near NAIA T3 and just few walk away from the Church of St. Therese, Starbucks, McDonald’s,Mang Inasal, and plenty of other spots for dining and shopping. The swimming pool was also a highlight and easy to reserve a time slot at the lobby, and it’s open until 10 PM for a relaxing evening dip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. No free slippers provided, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, highly recommend for a comfortable, accessible getaway. 👍🏼

The room was okay but the bathroom is really noisy when you're taking a bath or using the bowl it will affect your eardrum because of the noise, There's no slippers but I requested it. There's no kitchen towel and there's small cockroaches. When u comes out the room you will smell like chicken. The room is nice but needs improvement and the place is good since it's near malls and other establishments.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT BOOK THERE! Booked this place for one nigh with my daughter for our night in transit in Manila, confirmed by email the day before about details of our arrival and check-in since I was travelling with a 3.5 years old child and making sure everything was fine. I wanted to book a place near the airport because we were landing late at night and taking our connecting flight the next morning. Everything was fine and confirmed... until we arrived. The place I booked wasn't available after all. I was furious, my daughter was exhausted and started crying becauseof the wait. The staff offered us to stay at a different location 10km away from this place, WHICH WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO AVOID BY BOOKING IN A PLACE RIGHT BY THE AIRPORT!!! I had no choice but to go to their second location. It was almost midnight and we were exhausted with my daughter after our flight. The car took more than 30 minutes to get there (and it took me over 1h to come back to the airport the next morning). Just to find out we were hosted in a miserable hotel, extremely noisy from the road, with dark room, old furnitures, garbage bin right by our door and stains on our bedsheets. As a father, I was really ashame to have my little girl to sleep such disgusting place. It's fine when you are a backpacker on your own but humiliating when you are a father and care for your familly. Worst experience ever, I do not recommend you book there if you expect any form of customer service. No communucation with me when I was there, only through the local front desk people, no compensation offered, no refund on my Grab to get back to the airport (despite the fact that they said they would send a driver to pick us up, but nobody contacted us), no apologies email, only a standard mea culpa reply. What a shame! Shame on you!!!

Booking this hotel is as easy as you order food from the restaurant. Facility wise its good enough for a solo traveler or even with your friends. Although no breakfast included but the location is best enough since a variety of fast food and fine dining are just every where in that area. In general, this condotel specifically Henry's Newport hotel is good for me to a one night stay since its very near the airport. One request only is to have a weighing scale for travelers to have an access prior to going to the airport. I will book this hotel in my future travels in the Philippines.

I liked: - the location - the reception - the helpfulness of lady looking after the flat - the view from flat I did not like: - the flat is fairly outdated, regular maintenance and desire for quality of room would be expected - the bed was damaged and affected the comfort - the TV had suspicious blue shade on screen - no coffee and tea in this price range, more value for money, please.
