Hotel Siri Downtown - Paso Robles

The hotel is nice. Good location. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work nor did the elevator. Makes luggage more difficult and when it’s hot it’s not a great thing.

My room was an accessible unit. There was good room for my wheelchair. The room was clean and quiet. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay! Everything is brand new. The decor is really nice, and very inviting. The bed was sooooo comfortable, I drifted right off to sleep. Everything worked, everything is new, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and efficient. 10/10 would book again!

Siri Hotel is a good place for an overnight stay. Convenient location. Beds comfortable. Spacious room.

Door on balcony did not shut, let alone lock. Our smoke detector was covered with plastic. Definitely would not have detected smoke. Additionally, the security locks on the doors leading to the elevator were taped to keep them open. When checking out, I tried to bring these issues up to the manager only to be told I didn’t know how to close a door correctly. An insult to my intelligence as a woman I guess. I walked away and my husband explained the rest of the issues and why we won’t be coming back.

Tl;dr - manager loves to throw their employees under the bus and lie about what amenities rooms have so that you overpay for what you get. My wife and I reserved a room with a king-sized bed. When we arrived, the only person at the front desk was a kid who was working his first week at this job and obviously panicked. Manager/owner/supervisor was nowhere to be found. No shade on the kid. He did a great job for the situation management left him in, but management has to understand how incredibly unprofessional that is for them to do and how incredibly unfair it is to both their employee and their customers. We get a room and…it has a queen-sized bed. Now, I’m not, in principle upset about the bed size. Things happen, mistakes get made. Once the manager returns I go and talk to him. I figured we’d either get moved to a room we paid for, or at least have our bill reduced to reflect the room we got. Instead I hit the magic third option, “I’ve been in the hospitality business for decades and by California law that is a king-sized bed.” And…that’s just a lie (the king-sized bed bit, no idea how long the dude has worked in motels).

Hotel Siri is centrally located, walking distance to downtown Paso restaurants and tasting rooms, coffee, etc. The hotel is newly remodeled with clean, large rooms. We would definitely stay again.

This is a well located property, easy walk or drive form 24th St to the center of downtown at Centennial Park at 12th St. It is newly built but not very upscale construction. For example the shower curtain fell repeatedly because it was held up by a pressure pole only. But certainly adequate for an overnight in Paso.

Rooms were dirty- garbage can hadn’t even been taken out from previous customers- moldy strawberries in the garbage. Also rug was dirty and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. This was all after we were moved to king size room which we booked but were instead given a queen room until we pointed out that we were given the wrong room. Also keys stopped working- when we returned in the evening we couldn’t get into our room and luckily it was before 10pm when there is nobody at the front desk. Not sure what we would have done had we returned after 10pm… I definitely would not stay here again unless they improve.
