Darling Harbour Residence - South Pattaya

If you are not particular about cleanliness then this hotel is for you. The hotel is quite old and it needs a renovation. The room is quite spacious however things inside are quite ancient and need to be replaced and clean especially the bathroom and it stinks. The location is good, near to all convenience stores and walking street and bars.

Apart from the good location, there isn’t much else to praise about this hotel. The cleanliness is particularly poor, with a very dirty bathroom and bathtub.

Close to the beach and food shops. The room is very spacious. I especially liked the deep bathtub.

Need to improve cleanliness and toilet drainage

The rooms were tatty, poor upkeep and I cannot honestly believe they were ok with letting the conditions in the rooms slide so bad. I ended up staying in 2 rooms and the condition of both was terrible. I cannot believe any self respecting hotel would leave rooms in the state the 2 rooms I stayed in were. Partially painted roof, holes in the roof, curtains hanging off the rails (fixed them myself), one evening the cleaning staff turned up at 8pm to do my room!!. its a shame but one you walk into your room for the first time you expect some kind of wow factor, I was devestated. They provided coffee and a kettle, in room one the kettle burnt my hand...and by the way.. .you need spoons to stir with, no idea why non were in both rooms. I ended up stirring my coffee with a tooth brush. The hotel isnt cheap so I dont understand why they are ok with letting such obvious problems slide. a real shame. Wifi iffy.. I had to ask for the code as no card in the room to say what is was. When I did get connected it was bad and I usually started by tethering to my mobile phone.

Do not stay on this hotel - I repeat DO MOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL - dirty!!!nothing like the pictures nothing like the pictures
