This feels like the best value-for-money hotel I've found in Pattaya. The rating on *********** is higher than on Trip.com. The twin beds were listed as 1.03 meters, but they looked more like 1.1 meters, which was a pleasant surprise. On Trip.com, it's listed as one hotel, but when I booked a superior room and a luxury deluxe room, they ended up being in two separate buildings with two different front desks. On closer inspection, I realized the superior room was in the Crystal Palace Hotel near the main entrance, while the luxury deluxe room was in the Crystal Palace Resort & Spa, which are the two 'V'-shaped buildings right by the pool. The yellow building in between the two front desks might be for deluxe rooms. The hotel is quite large and caters to a lot of tour groups, mostly concentrated in the superior room area. The room photos are accurate. The restaurant and pool are shared facilities. A big plus is the excellent hot water, which is a rarity in other Pattaya hotels that often only have lukewarm water. The downside is that the hotel is a bit older, so stainless steel fixtures like the sink drain aren't super new. There was a slight hiccup on check-out day when my daughter had a fever and we wanted to extend our stay. The front desk for the luxury deluxe room quoted 500 baht, which seemed reasonable, but the superior room front desk wanted 1000 baht. Perhaps it was due to tour group arrangements, but the luxury deluxe room definitely had better service. I'd recommend booking one of the slightly more expensive rooms inside – they come with both a bathtub and a shower, and the price difference isn't that significant.
