Mood Hotel Pattaya

Had a great time! It's super close to the beach, the night market, and local amenities, making it really convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Excellent value for money! Thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room was really tiny. There was no desk, no chair, no toothbrush, and no slippers. Crucially, the sink was badly clogged, and the water drained very slowly. I guess most guests only stay for a night or two and don't bother to complain.

As a Black Diamond member who's traveled extensively, let me tell you: absolutely do NOT choose this place, unless all you care about is the location and a cheap price, and you don't mind sacrificing hygiene and comfort. The hotel's prices fluctuated wildly when I booked it; I paid 440 a night, only for it to drop to 330 three days later, and then to 280 the day after that. The hotel flat-out refused to refund the difference. If I had known this was a 200-something quality hotel, I would never have booked it. I was so disgusted upon checking in that I literally fled – no exaggeration, just look at the pictures! The entire floor was covered in all sorts of hair, there was hair on the toilet, and later I even found used dental floss on the bedside table. There was also some sticky, unidentifiable gunk on the desk. I was so close to throwing up that I immediately rebooked another hotel about 100 meters away. Afterward, the hotel only agreed to refund one night's stay. On a positive note, kudos to Trip.com; they actively helped coordinate and did their best to recover my losses throughout the process.

The room is tiny; there's no space to even sit and eat. The water quality is terrible; the picture shows the shower filter after just one night's use. The showerhead's angle and height can't be adjusted, and it leaks. The water temperature is also hard to control. You could use the overhead shower, but only if you don't care about hygiene. There's dust on the hangers, so make sure to wipe them clean before hanging your clothes.
