The food was great and the accommodation was clean and close to the sea. However, the bathroom blinds couldn't be adjusted, so everything was visible when showering. This should be improved.

The quality of water was horrendous. That sewage smell from the bathroom and that humid moldy smell from the ventilation system (AC) were just unbearable.

We recently stayed at The Sanctuary Resort Pattaya and overall it was a really good stay with excellent hospitality from the staff. The location is very convenient — there’s a 7-Eleven right opposite the hotel, plus Lotus’s and Big C nearby. The beach is within walking distance, although the beach area is quite small so it can get crowded during sunset. Morning runs along the area were okay, but there was occasionally an unpleasant smell. The room was spacious enough for 2 people and very clean. The bathroom was extremely big, though the layout felt a little odd because the shower was placed in one corner and the toilet bowl was on the opposite side without proper separation between wet and dry areas, leaving quite a lot of unused empty space. One downside was that the walls were not soundproof at all — we could clearly hear the TV from the next room. Since we stayed over the weekend, there were also many children around, making the pool area very noisy and crowded at times. Amenities were good enough for a 5-star hotel, and we appreciated having a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was also good and definitely worth it considering the room price included breakfast. The rooftop bar with the swimming pool and jacuzzi was beautiful, but again very crowded with children during the weekend. We ended up going back later at night and again in the morning before checkout, which was much more peaceful and enjoyable. The best part of our stay was truly the service and hospitality. Every staff member we met was kind, warm, and very helpful. During check-in, we informed them that we had accidentally booked a twin-bed room. Although the one-bed room type was fully booked, the staff kindly upgraded us to a mini suite, which we really appreciated. Another nice gesture was when we went to the pool before checkout and found that our key card had been deactivated because it was close to checkout time. The staff immediately reactivated it and even extended our stay by an hour for us. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great service, good facilities, and a very convenient location. We would definitely consider coming back again, though probably on a weekday next time for a quieter experience.

Pool has a nice view of the sunset... Friendly and very helpful staff. I stayed for 2 weeks Working Elsewhere and it feels just like home. Location is perfect to walk by the beach and go to nearby cafes and restaurant. A good place for solo female traveller.

Good service. Friendly and accommodating staffs. Very clean and the location is good near the ocean and convenient stores.

The sea view from the room was fantastic, and the rooftop pool was even better. Plus, there were even sharks accompanying diners at the restaurant downstairs – truly a nice touch!

FOR SMOKER: this is not a smoker friendly hotel !!!! Good things: Location Beautiful view of the sea, from the pool/terrace. Good, varied breakfast. A very nice hotel from the entrance. Pleasant communication at the reception. Bad things: Total exclusion of smokers! Only one place is given in the corner, totally prohibiting and annoying being forced at check-in to sign that only if they think or find evidence that you smoked on the balcony or elsewhere in the hotel you will be fined 3,000 baht. It's not the amount, it's the way they manage the presence of smokers. !!!!!!! Room 401 very very dirty shower area....... it hasn't been washed there for months. This is not the fault of the cleaning lady but of the floor manager or in building A, who must give exact instructions for cleaning. I should mention that I stayed another time in building B, room 725 - perfectly clean.

Excellent service, clean rooms, and a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. The rooftop view is amazing, especially watching the sea at sunset.
