I stayed for 4 nights. For the first night, my window faced an outdoor air conditioner unit, so the next morning I asked the lady at the front desk if I could change to a room with an openable window. Luckily, there was one available. I don't speak *********, so I used a translation app to communicate, but she was very patient and accommodating. The building is old, and the elevator starts from the second floor, so it might be difficult if you have large luggage. A man helped me with my bags during check-in. The new room had a window with a view and allowed for fresh air, making my stay comfortable. It uses a physical key instead of a card key, but you insert a card attached to the key to turn on the power. So, if you want to use the refrigerator when you're out, you can borrow an extra card. The location is incredibly convenient; I could walk to the ferry terminal for places like Qimei Island and also the bus station. Best of all, I could walk to the seaside, enjoying morning and evening strolls. Penghu was perfect for a relaxing stay. I'd love to stay here again if I visit.

Typical family-operate hotel. Location is fine, in the heart of Makong city, most attractions, harbor, bus terminal are all in walking distance. Nothing else worth mentioning as they are not so good. Elevator not allowed to access from 2nd floor; no slippers, no shower curtains so it is wet all over the bathroom. Anyways, don’t expect more. It was just ok to have a short stay

Hotel in good location, elevator not working. Room quite small. Some dust on the bedsheets (maybe from ac?), otherwise ok. reception open from 8am.

The owner and the lady receptionist are very friendly and helpful. We asked for help on the first night landing on the island (where to eat?). They also own a souvenir shop next door that offers great discounts for the hotel's customers (even cheaper than any stores at any tourist attractions). #convenient location in the city center #free daily room cleaning service

My stay at this hotel was good. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future but future guest must be mindful that the sound insulation in the room is not great so outside noise does come in but it's not very disturbing. Also, it would be nice if the hotel can clean the A/C unit as that in particular had a scent coming from it or use some scented bags to give the room some sweet smelling essence. Overall, I enjoyed the few days I spent here.

The accommodations were excellent. Even after a long day of fun, I didn't worry about the soundproofing. The service was courteous. The location in the city center provides excellent amenities. It's close to Guanyin Pavilion, making it a short walk to the fireworks display. I'll definitely book a room here again if I have the chance to visit Penghu again. Oh, and there are discounts on local products for tourists staying here!

This hotel is suitable for those who primarily want to visit and only stay overnight. It's located near the pier and is bustling with activity. However, the hotel is quite old, so many facilities are a bit dated and the soundproofing is poor. It's not recommended for those with mobility issues, as there are stairs to navigate.

The air conditioner vents were so loud that I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. The pillowcases, covers, and bed sheets looked dingy and unwashed. The tap water in the glass was a bit yellowish.

The hotel is in a great location in the city center. There are many restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable. I recommend booking it when you come to Penghu.

There are many good places to eat nearby, but the sanitation needs to be cleaned up. However, there are no major problems with the air conditioning and showering. The bus terminal is conveniently located nearby.

The space is small, and the tables and chairs are simple. The good thing is that it is very lively downstairs, convenient for shopping and eating, and the price is cheap. This is my second time staying here, and I book 2 consecutive nights each time.

It's not bad for an old and cheap hotel, but to be honest, it's a bit dirty (but it's cheap after all). The advantage is that it is very close to the lively shopping places!

Apart from the fact that the air conditioner is running so loud that I can’t sleep, there are no other issues.
