Les Chambres de La Renaissance

My husbsnd and I loved our stay at this beautiful and charming castle! While this is a castle, the rooms are all remodeled and very clean and comfortable! We had a delicious dinner upon our arrival and a wonderful breakfast before we left. The food was excellent and we loved our room! We would definitely go back when visiting Lyon. Highly recommend it!

A delightful stopover in this castle which makes an incredible setting and where you have the impression of stepping back in time. The room was charming, spacious and clean and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff.

A wonderful castle, comfort for royalty Phenomenal property !!!! I was so happy with our stay - which was sadly too short. This was merely a rest stop on the way to ski. But what an incredible surprise. Super friendly staff - the welcome was professional and so wonderful. The place is a castle and you feel transported to the Middle Ages. Real fast is excellent. Super comfortable. I will return !!!

Worst experience of my life. We arrived at 10 PM on December 31St Planning to spend a lovely night and when we arrived, the heating was off. Temperature outside was -3°C. We turned on the heating, but it wasn’t working on my room was at 17°C. At 1 AM we called reception but this hotel is empty at night so we had to wait half an hour for the receptionist to come Put the brakes on so the heating started working. Half an hour later the Light went off again with the heating and this has been happening eight times from 1 AM to 8 a.m. The manager has made us pay and I have called the police. Manager is on polite unprofessional and a disgrace. Do not come to this hotel. If you have any problem, they won’t solve it and they will make you pay. Disgusting. We are going now to the police to file a complaint

This was an unique stay. It is an old chateau therefore upper floor rooms require stairs. It is located in a quiet town of Saint Julie. Taxi service is unreliable so it is best suited for those who will drive on their own. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very nicely renovated with a very spacious shower area.

This is an amazing property. The food was excellent, and the service was great. We had ordered a taxi to check out of this facility to get us to the train station, but the taxi never showed. One of the staff offered to load us into her car and drove us to the train station. They were wonderful to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone!
